Bellator has some pretty mundane press conferences. Only made it halfway through this one....at work.
Shouldn't be surprising though. You're not going to see nobodies and journeymen trying to emulate Conor McGregor in a press conference only attended by journalists. All Bellator really has is the "baby nuts" incident.
The UFC's press conferences are full of energy and cringe.

Everyone was friendly and respectful of their opponents. Maybe they need more Stephan Bonner masked guys. They could hire bonner to help with promotion if that's what some of the audience wants.

I don't think any promotion is ever going to create something like that Tito vs Bonnar announcement. Bellator would have a very hard time trying to replicate it. It was the perfect storm.
Scott Coker's stutter-y introduction of Bonnar and Tito. Bonnar trying to take the microphone from Jimmy Smith. Bonnar's "flushed him like a turd". Justin McCully with that stupid sack over his head. Tito Ortiz' bad public speaking skills. One of the worst "hold me back" moments of all time.
It worked. The ratings for that show ended up being massive for Bellator in 2014.
