This is really bad for a tentpole, really bad, i was expexting 800k at least.
Thoughts?

Lol that's awful. I expected way more since it was a Dynamite event but no one gives a fuck about kickboxing

If i remember correctly, there was nothing else really going on.

I don't follow soccer. So i'm not sure what was going on with that.

That's terrible. If their London event doesn't go well things might start looking worse and worse for Bellator really quickly..

Well it's tape delayed so they already have that going against them

yup, they lost Kimbo too. something happened before the last event where there was a gap between events where it seemed like everyone lost interest. despite the signings of bendo, mitrione, sergei, they kept no momentum from the previous events, theres been no promotion, the cards are lackluster. ive personally lost a lot of interest too.

they should seriously think about making some major changes, whether thats bringing back a lot more tournaments or something else, i know the attendance numbers have been good but these tv numbers are atrocious.

Weeboo Coker is burning through money. Overall, I liked the event.

I still enjoying watching for FREE, Bellator is alright in my books despite the numbers.

Bellator isnt in a good spot right now, Kimbo was only guy they had who could do a big number and now they dont have him.

WHen Rampage, tentpole Dynamite card does 600k viewers thats awful.

Bellator seems to be going backwards.

Fans have spoken, no more joint events.

Bellator should get rid of kickboxing.
that Hisaki Schilling fight was the best fight though haha.

I don't know if it's the kickboxing I think its the un-organization of the event and lack of promotion of any kind. They are just horrible television promoters plain and simple.

the carvalho decision may not have sat well with some people... and the rampage decision isn't going to help

I'm baffled by their strategy, their cards are the same if not worse than the Bjorn era yet there is much more time between them.

At least before we'd get a lot of straight weeks of fun events, now we get those same overall lackluster events spread out over a few months.

Seems pointless.

Bellator has to be in trouble. Sagging ratings, no stars, lack of elite talent

Not surprised. I personally found out that the event is taking place by randomly stumbling onto Satoshi Iishi's wiki page. I completely forgot about it and obviously missed it.
I'm not even sure what Bellator can do. I don't remember the last time I was interested in their cards, eventhough, they make decent ones sometimes.

Their Kimbo event on July 16th was supposed to be huge. Now we also have PBC on Fox with Deontay Wilder at the same time, so its going to take a hit that night too.

I know its not exactly there fault but theyve had a run of 3 of 4 straight main events I disagreed with the verdict.

I had Mo over Phil
Manhoef over Carvalho
And Iishi over Rampage.

It gets frustrating as a fan when you continue to see things differently than the judges in the biggest fights.
