Bellator 156 Averages 482k Viewers

This card was so lame, I didn't even bother remembering it was on this weekend.

At least the next 2 look reasonably good.

I want to know the numbers for WSOF
It is possible they have captured some viewers? They regular audience are 150/200k IIRC

As usual a Coker run org seems to have no direction to it. They just plain suck at getting any kind of momentum. You want be successful in any business build a brand. Is it really that hard to take your guys and lay out a six month plan and get people excited about the next event. They just try to get you to tune into the handful of tent pole shows and the rest of the shows they more or less hope you tune in.

Bellator just doesn't have that mainstream fight feel that the UFC does. Not a single person I know, knows what a "Bellator" is but I have met many that once I bring up the UFC they will ask me questions about the fighters, when's the next event, etc.

Sometimes I'll ask hey have you seen MVP, The Pitbull brothers, Joe Warren, etc fight and they look at me like I'm speaking a foreign language.

They just aren't building themselves well as a brand and yeah they're getting better ratings under Coker and all but the fights except for a select few have been pretty mediocre. People were excited when Coker came along and wanted Bjorn out but I legitimately think Bjorn built the brand better and brought in the better prospects and made the fights feel big for they're organization.

Just my take on the Coker Era of Bellator. I really do hope he can make it more successful because it's always better for there to be competition and for there to be another place for fighters to go.

EDIT: And obviously this is just one event and I may have just rambled but so be it.

I was more interested in the wsof and rfa cards personally. Saved Bellator till I woke up the next day

I consider myself a pretty big Bellator fan, and I had 0 interest in the card.

WSOF did 126k, second lowest ratings in WSOF history behind WSOF 7 which did 94k.

Damn! It was another big sport event on TV that day?
(I don't live in America)

Not really. Sunday had what might turn out to be the most watched basketball game of all time on television, but MMA was left alone for the most part.
