Belal Slams Leon on his head gif 💥💫

All you did was show you follow BJ Penns twiiter.

But I'm not on twitter, so thanks for these gifs :p
Nope bro I check the competition for news and use sherdog for the forum.

You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed them.

Ok I changed the title for some attention

Guys you can't let my copy pasting effort go to waste. I invested 10-15 minutes into this body of work.
It's been posted multiple times already with better gifs on the Sherdogs within threads dude.

Edit: Actually the still is gold. Illegal everyday haha

It really looked like Leon was out for a second after the slam. I wonder if Belal would've started Gnp-ing right away with heavy shots if he could've gotten the finish.

He didn't notice, he's not used to finishing. The ladys love him.

Seriously, though, this is indeed illegal, right? This is so scary and dangerous. Just glad Edwards didn't get hurt badly. How can this happen? Or how can we make sure this doesn't happen more often in the future? Don't wanna see fighters get paralyzed.

Arab Airlines. Mašala. Belal bless.
Habibi come to London.

Thats an evil move. Spiking someone on their head is actually illegal.
Randleman did it to Fedor once. Fedor, a man of integrity when asked if he would ever do it said "I have had the opportunity, but not the desire to do such a move in a fight".
Imagine some bigger guys or better wrestlers tossed Belal on his head like that.

I does not look like Belal tried to intentionally spike him on his head and neither Randleman. They are just wrestler who tried for the takedown.

Of course he could have, but that's in an alternative universe where Belal is capable of finishing a fight (19 fights in the UFC, 3 finishes)

Plenty of takedowns include lifting your opponent up and bringing them down. How you land is on both guys, not just the guy attempting the takedown/throw/slam.

Since TS didn’t post a gif, but one image and several links to twitter, I won’t rewatch how it happened, BUT I think it was a part of Edwards not tucking in his chin, not rotating through with it and having his other arm kind of stuck.

These situations happen fast and you don’t have time to think it through. You react on instict and it seems like Leon was half asleep here? I don’t know.

Those calling this an ”evil move” or illegal or something, go watch DC fights. I remember him slamming multiple opponents like that, Barnett and Gustafsson for example. They reacted much better (and didn’t have their arm trapped/stuck?) and landed just fine.
