Oliveira has had the skills to be the champ for many years, it’s just that he in many fights have been too cocky/arrogant. He has put himself in many bad positions just because he think he’s way ahead of his opponent but then ends up getting caught. It seems like he has improved though and he would be a very tricky fighter for Khabib to beat, good striking and a wiz on the ground.

At almost 2021, Charles beats Kevin 10/10×. The " kool aid" period is now officially over and anybody that doesnt realize that Do bronx hasnt evolved to top 3 status( at least) at 155 , this sport is something that you have the right to watch and enjoy but maybe you shouldn't talk about it or offer up opinions.

Remember he was very competitive against Fighter Kevin Lee until the 3rd round sub.

Fighter Kevin was weaker in the standup but controlled Oliveira a lot on the ground and landed some GnP.

I watched that fight, Charles had him in sweep or sub danger about 90% of the time from bottom. Lee defended extremely and landed some GnP, but it was quite evident that sooner or later he would catch him. Besides, a non-gassed Lee is probably the second best topcontrol wrestler in the division and his GnP punches are more powerful than Khabibs. Charles could beat Khabib (not saying he does, but he could imo).

Islams wins against Tsarukyan and Ramos were impressive in my opinion. They might have been non/lower ranked than Lee and Tony when Charles beat them, but those were still very dangerous opponents.
