Nate was possibly the worst match up for Conor in the lw division. Despite this, Conor nuthuggers were saying he was gonna get ko'd in the first. Conor may be the best 145'er, but that's where he needs to stay.

I didn't think Diaz could do it, but the submission route was out there. This is good: Conor brought a type of trash talk that just incites violence and deviated from sportsmanship.

RDA is a better BJJ fighter than Diaz and has a decent TD repertoire. I still think RDA would get a stoppage or submission (especially given how fast Conor taps) in the third.

But I get your point. Diaz didn't minds the bullying, stayed in there for the trades, and exposed Conor's limited ground game (it's MMA kids, not boxing-karate). It's possible RDA would try to out-strike Conor and lose....so, you have a very good point.

But of the bunch at LW, RDA is the best fighter right now. And I don't see any reason for a Conor-RDA fight now. The funny thing is: too bad for RDA. It'd be his money-fight, and he missed it.

Great for Diaz, great for Jiu Jitsu. I hope Conor tones down the talk and improves his ground game to be honest.

Definitely agree. Conor deserves credit for stepping up, but I don't think he could get near a title shot at 170. 155 maybe, but I feel tony Ferguson, khabib, rda, Alvarez, or Pettis would beat him.
