A buddy of mine wrote this article. Thought it was worth sharing, it breaks down Megumi Fujii's legendary career at length.

Synopsis: Like any sport, MMA also has its fair share of notable pioneers and figures that helped build it up to where we are today. Becoming ‘Mega Megu’: The Megumi Fujii story provides an in-depth look into the mind of a woman who crafted a lasting, yet overshadowed, legacy in the world’s fastest-growing sport.

As a longtime Mega Megu fan and someone who absolutely has her on the WMMA Mount Rushmore, I think she doesn't get enough credit for what she accomplished in her time. She's the kind of awesome that deserves all the accolades she can get.

Will be reading it and discussing it in a vid later this week. Thanks for sharing, Jay.

Love that photo (when you scroll down in the article): GOAT and mini-GOAT sharing a laugh in the ring.

EDIT: Pic of crying with her mom after the 1st Frausto fight is touching.
