'Beauty and the Beast' to feature Disney's first 'exclusively gay moment' in film

ironic that walt disney was condemned as a fierce anti-semite, racist homophobe and yet here, years later, his beloved franchise is on the cutting edge of inclusiveness.
He's rolling in his cryochamber.

Disney has a history of putting weird subliminal sex messages in their cartoons in the past. They've always had some weird agenda of exposing children to sex at a young age.

So their first gay character is a chubby brown noser whose life is consumed by the infatuation of the uber-masculine white male who coincidentally treats him like a second class citizen?

Real progressive Disney.

Yes, you are nitpicking over my correct usage of the word celebrate, and doing a poor job of it. A positive acknowledgement in many contexts can be termed a celebration. Tonto is a good example of the celebration of one (non-Native American) ideal of Native Americans.
After reading this, I actually believe that you're a woman.

Don't quote me, but statistically, I believe the lesbian lifestyle is not as harmful, as in, their life expectancy is not well below average, though it's still obviously a deviation.

Yes, my view that it's not healthy to paint homosexuality as something positive to children because it's not something positive. It's an abnormality, by definition. I also don't think we should present incest to children as positive, or transgenderism, or depression, or OCD, even if these things are okay for adults to do/be.

Heterosexuality is the norm. There will come a day when children learn that there are deviations in life, but when they're 9 years old watching cartoons, it's not one of those times.
Comparing homosexuality to incest and depression?

This is what I get for reading too fast and looking for a "gotcha" moment. Better drink some more espresso.

You've made the case against male homosexuality but I see no reason why that would apply to female homosexuality. Why then is it wrong to show female homosexuality if its not associated with the same risks as male homosexuality? You simply say its a deviation but that seems flimsy on its own. A female engineer or male teacher is a deviation from the norm as well but is that a bad thing to expose children to?

It turns out that female homosexuality also suffers from the same effects. For instance, they also have a shorter life expectancy. It's not just that it's a deviation, it's an unhealthy deviation. I don't feel the need to tell my children that it's a positive thing to embrace. We're not talking about a career choice here.

Beggars can't be choosers.

What is the reason for the shorter lifespan? Higher rates of STDs? Domestic violence? Or something else? For instance, a large chunk(~40%) of homeless teens are LGBT. Being kicked out of your house in your formative years can have negative effects that reverberate throughout one's lifetime and that's something that's almost a uniquely LGBT experience; black kids don't get kicked out of their homes for being black in the way gay teens get kicked out for being gay.
