He couldve gone takedown after takedown with no repercussions, other than a succesful stuff by Al.

But he didnt do it for Uncle Dana.

Be real with ourselves .. Took Khabib 1 minute and 10 secs to have Al eating punches for 3:50 in the first.

When he got a hold of Al's ankle he would twist around, like a crocodile rotating after biting its prey.

Khabib took every opening there was, he didnt force anything. Didnt get hit once while on guard. And as soon as Al had any momentum for an escape, Khabib swiched sides on him and grabbed another limb, a wrestling clinic.

Without a doubt he knew by the 3rd and 4th round Al was broken down, and khabib decided to give the casuals a little something. He looked alot more comfortable on his feet than vs Barboza imo, lighter on the feet. However, his combos were a bit mechanical, as well as the kicks/flying knee which werent really a game changer. He barely got hit in the standup.

Khabib boxed for the fans and uncle Dana, not because he couldnt keep going for takedown after takedown

Yeah, I'm drunk as well.

He lured Conor into a 5% chance of actually fighting him by looking beatable

Lol khabib fans are so desperate for us to buy into this fantasy that he wasn't trying in the biggest fight of his career. They aint giving up on this one boys.

There is audio of his corner repeatedly telling him to take Al down - which he tried to do, but just couldn’t in the later rounds. Al legitimately stuffed quite a few TD’s. Khabib’s landed only 6 of 16 TD’s, so the narrative of him letting Al stand just for fun seems off base....

Yeah... he only attempted sloppy TDs in rounds 2 and 3 and did not even chainwrestled like he usually does.

His striking is not aesthetically pleasing but is effective as fuck. I was surprised how little he got punched.

I think he proved he can stand against a really good striker and that he has a gastank for 25 minutes.

If you watch his fights.. Khabib usually does not get the 1rst takedown. Something like Ben Askren. Is the constant pressure and the chain wrestling they apply that gets them TDs.

Most of Khabib takedowns come from the fence. He did not try to put Al there in rounds 2 and 3. He was happy to circle around and try to jab Iaquinta nose off.

He never tried. He gave a shot per round just to keep Al guessing, then jabbed him to hell, easily winning the standup with almost no effort. Why change what isn't broken? You Shertards will reach like crazy.
