Be Honest: Which Current Welterweights Do You See Beating Khabib?

Khabib retired early and never fought at WW to keep his 0
Adesanya fought at LHW and he lost his 0
I hate Adesanya but i respect him 1000x more than khabib because he has the balls to go up

He had 11 fights at ww outside of UFC.

Izzy never should have moved up if he wasn't going to be on some muscle. If he did he would have beaten Jan. I remember then Silva moved up and he clearly put on muscle for it. If he wasn't smaller he keeps it standing and wins.

I agree it is a massive achievement to win at multiple weight classes v best in both classes. It is why triple C's record is more impressive than Khabib IMO.

Khamzat is his toughest matchup bc size + skillset.
Kamaru second hardest matchup for similar reasons.
Gilbert is a fun fight, dangerous.
Colby is game but far behind skill wise imo (& doesn’t have huge size advantage to make up for it), Khabib subs him.
None of the strikers or anyone else stand a good chance. Lol @ Wonderman.

We never even got to see Khabib have to dig deep and see what he has in that regard. What a ripoff

imo there are a bunch of guys at Welter that would either beat him or give him problems

beats Khabib:

Usman
Colby
Burns
Luque
Leon Edwards
Khamzat
Stephen Thompson

gives him serious problems due to a variety of reasons (mostly size, strength, explosive ability):

Michael Chiesa
Neil Magny
Belal Muhammad
Santiago Ponzinibbio
Niko Price
Michael Pereira
Geoff Neal
Robbie Lawler
Khaos Williams
Gunnar Nelson
Masvidal (maybe...)

guys Khabib should beat pretty easily:

Nate Diaz
Cerrone
Jingling

honestly going through the Welter rankings made me realize just how fucking deep the division is. it has way more depth than the highly overrated LW division honestly

Given that RDA took two rounds from Colby in a pretty competitive fight while past his prime, but was utterly doninated by a young Khabib while in the middle of his legendary win streak, I'd tone this obvious troll attempt down a bit.

Also, LOL at some of the other messages implying WW is Khabib's real weight class, when fighters like Dustin outweighed him in the cage.

Anyway, Khamzat would probably beat Khabib, since he might weigh almost 200 in the cage, and has very similar skills with more KO power. Maybe Usman, even though Gaethje (his main training partner) has implied he doesn't think Kamaru could beat him after experiencing Khabib's pressure and grappling firsthand.

If Khabib could have beaten everyone at WW he would have done so before retiring instead of defending his LW title...he's not beating Usman.

Honestly no one. Even Justin (Usman training partner) said he can’t see someone beating him in the LW and WW divisions.

After training with Usman, Gaethje said Khabib takes down anyone in the WW division.

That answers it for me.

I think Usman and Khamzat would be competitive, but unlikely the Eage loses to any of them.

I'd pick Usman, Colby, Burns, Leon and Khamzat to beat Khabib, the rest I think Khabib has a good chance of beating

Guys, guys. You are forgetting the real problem.

Khabib can't make WW lmao. He's a LHW now.

According to people at AKA, Khabib ragdolls 185 pound guys so idk

He would have issues with Maia. I don't think he will take the ground approach and it's going to be a weird striking fight.

So, pretty much just a copy/paste of the UFC rankings, with you just picking a spot you think Khabib would be with no real reasoning behind any of them?

Lol, GOAT LW, but you think 18 guys at WW would beat him, including guys who moved up from LW themselves?

Most of the WW top 10 beats Khabib, nothing wrong with that though.

Good question TS, wish we had a chance to find out. But fun to speculative

Adesanya only went up because he believed he had a easy win = no balls. Notice he never went up against JJ.

I think Usman beats him 7 or 8 out of 10 times or so.

Burns is an intriguing matchup.

Other than Khamzat on the horizon, I don't see anyone else beating him more than 40 percent of the time or so. I think he rolls the elite guys with "good or very good wrestling but no KO power" relatively straightforwardly.

This is assuming he puts on a little bit more muscle. His frame can definitely support more weight/muscle if he does it right.
