imo there are a bunch of guys at Welter that would either beat him or give him problems

beats Khabib:

Usman
Colby
Burns
Luque
Leon Edwards
Khamzat
Stephen Thompson

gives him serious problems due to a variety of reasons (mostly size, strength, explosive ability):

Michael Chiesa
Neil Magny
Belal Muhammad
Santiago Ponzinibbio
Niko Price
Michael Pereira
Geoff Neal
Robbie Lawler
Khaos Williams
Gunnar Nelson
Masvidal (maybe...)

guys Khabib should beat pretty easily:

Nate Diaz
Cerrone
Jingling

honestly going through the Welter rankings made me realize just how fucking deep the division is. it has way more depth than the highly overrated LW division honestly

Your list is terrible . He would have issues with all bigger grapplers since he's a grappler.

I mean, it would be the first time Khabib's going up against a guy his own size. we've never seen that before.

yeah I think Belal gives him some problems

Being his size isn't a sufficient problem.

I am not a huge Khabib fan but with a camp to put a little muscle on I believe he beats everyone on the second list. I also think he would be competitive with the top of the list if his chin holds up, his always been willing to take punishment at LW. He spent pretty much his whole career outside the UFC at WW so has a lot of experience.

The idea he can't beat a guy like Niko Price is pretty lol.

Khabib retired early and never fought at WW to keep his 0
Adesanya fought at LHW and he lost his 0
I hate Adesanya but i respect him 1000x more than khabib because he has the balls to go up

Khabib vs Burns fight would definitely be an interesting one if it ever came to fruition since Burns had enough guts to move up to WW despite being a LW fighter and surprise! He decided tear sh1t up in that division.

A fighter with that type of mentality should be respected a lot more, regardless of whether he became champion or not.

Khabib should beat Colby without too much problems since Colby's wrestling gets negated and taken over by Khabib's own + Khabib's stand-up being surprisingly good enough that it can defend well against seasoned strikers. See the UFC 242 Poirier fight.

After seeing Burns hold down Wonderboy, pretty sure Khabib could do the same.

The only one I’m pretty sure would beat him is Usman, the rest probably don’t in my opinion

Usman & Chimaev would overpower him.

Colby maybe, but it would be close.

I think he beats anyone at ww.

Usman would be his toughest fight for sure. I actually think Khabib beats him on the feat by jabbing him to death in a boring fight with a lot of clinching and takedown defense.

One thing I will say is that while Khabib isn't completely wrestlefucking everyone at ww, there's still nobody that completely outwrestles him in an MMA fight if we're talking about the guy he was the the last few years before retirement.

It's been said that the only guys at AKA that could consistently outwrestle Khabib were heavyweights like DC and Cain. Even Rockhold had trouble with Khabib, and apparently John Fitch had nothing for Khabib even when Khabib first came to train at AKA before his prime.

lol at guys like Colby out wrestling Khabib. He's on par with high level international grapplers. A decent division 1 wrestler isn't giving him problems unless there's a huge weight discrepancy.
