Honestly the size difference isnt that big. Dominick is about as big as a BW gets and Frankie is still a bit undersized at FW (only cuts a couple pounds). They are both top 5 p4p fighters right now IMO

Theyre both known for their movement but Dominick is the defensive stylist, Frankie the high output combination move forward stylist. These 2 are prolly the best at transitioning in all of MMA maybe ever with their striking and wrestling. We all know Frankie would smash Conor, so if he moves to BW and fights Dominick Who would u favor?

Im going with Frankie. I think his output, massively underrated leg kicks and power would be too much for Dominick. Also dont see Dominick outgrappling or getting Frankie down for more than a second and i dont think he can bamboozle Frankie with his angles and footwork for 25 minutes. If Frankie gets Dom down i think he could be in some trouble with Frankies massively improved top game as Dom doesnt scramble as well as Urijah

I think this would actually be a good competitive fight, but I can't imagine Edgar losing in the end.

Cruz footwork >>>>> Frankies footwork.

How does Frankie win this fight? Dom is a helluva wrestler even though he doesn't have the credentials to back it up.

LOL at frankies "underrated power", that was the biggest flash KO over Mendes I've ever seen, he's the softest hitter at FW.

Defensively Dom has clearly better footwork. Offensively Frankies is much better

Some of Doms footwork is just for style/show. He got dropped on his ass multiple times by Urijah timing his footwork and angles. Frankie has more power and much better boxing than Urijah.

And Frankie was also able to shut out Urijah 5-0 which Dom couldnt do in either fight. He even got choked out at 145

Frankie has power when he sits down on his punches. Jim Miller said Frankies power is the thing he most remembers from their fight. Frankie

- dissolved Grays chin who was never the same
- only guy to stop Bocek with strikes (who has fought RDA, Bendo, Danzig etc)
- KOd Chad with a 2-3
- dropped iron chinned Bendo with a punch and nearly dropped his tree trunk legs with a leg kick who is a WW now, and looked 2 weight classes bigger than Frankie
- Rocked Oliviera badly and nearly finished him with strikes
- finished BJ with strikes and really cut him open and leaking like a pig in a way he never was in his career
- offbalanced Sherk with a knee
- nearly finished Franca inside his guard with strikes

he would have a massive advantage over Doms pillowfists and terrible punching technique

Frankie is deceptively fast and relentless. I would say a 5 round decision for Frankie, sorry @Homeless Infant but that's only if I was betting money otherwise it's Cruz all the way:p

If we're doing MMAMath I highly doubt Frankie could beat Dillashaw, Dillashaw is one of the best offensive fighters in the UFC and Frankie gets hit a lot.

there is yet to be an opponent Cruz hasn't solved so i would never pick against him.

Frankie wins a fight.

Cruz wins if it's a dance competition.

Dom just dances about and does no damage most of the time. He doesn't even try to do damage but tries to make his opponent look silly by missing and the judges give it to him. Frankie is not gonna be outwrestled or beaten on the ground by Dom. If he's smart on the feet, Dom isn't gonna hurt him there either. So it's a case of whether Frankie can hit him or if Dom will dance around and touch him a bit and win on points.

Frankie can be dumb on the feet and Dom still cant hurt him.

Has Dom ever hurt any nonunknown fighter on the feet? And keep in mind most of the guys hes beaten are flyweights too and he couldnt hurt them. Frankie has only been hurt @ 155 against much bigger and stronger guys than Dom including Benson whos a WW\

Dom has virtually no chance in hurting Frankie. He has 0 chance in finishing him.

I prefer Fedor's and Mighty mouse transitions.

Prime BJ had good transitions too...so did gsp in striking to takedowns at least.

Trouble is all Dom has to do is dance around and not get hit and the judges will give it to him cause it looks slick. Some of his striking is a fucking joke... Him trying to land a left kick looks like a first timer at Muay Thai.

Both excellent choices and theyd be in my top 5. I still like Frankie and Dom over em

BJ had good transitions i agree, but i wouldnt even put his transitions over a guy like Sherk

Frankie can move well and can finish fights.
Cruz moves well but he does it mainly to not get hit, yet he got outstruck in his last fight. He has slipped a bit.

I used to try to emulate cruzs style but i think tj took his style and improved upon it.

However not well enough to beat him with it.
