I really thought Snyder would be able to make something special. I really loved 300 and Watchmen, figured he could bring it all together for a Magnum Opus type result.
Oh well, will go see it Friday and make up my own mind.

Looking back, his three best movies were also his first. Dawn of the Dead, 300, and Watchmen. Since then we've had Suckerpunch, MOS, and that owl movie. Poor WB.

Damn, based on RT - I guess the movie matched the shitty trailers.

I'm hoping this will be like Transformers where it got trashed by critics but I still enjoyed it.

No matter how bad the reviews, I'm still going to see this movie. It will still make a shit-ton of money, but if the reviews are accurate I can't see DC breaking Marvel's choke hold on Superhero movies.

It will still make a gang of cash, but it won't stand shoulder to shoulder with Dark Knight and Avengers. The two undisputed kings of superhero flicks.
