I predict 60%-75% RT for critics

and closer to 85%-90% for audience rating.

I doubt that's the reason why at all. Here you have two iconic superhero's (three if you count Wonder Woman's minor role), one of whom is ridiculously powerful. If time, and repeated letdowns, have proven anything in the past, it's that Luthor alone is not a plausible or powerful enough villain to really go toe to toe with Superman. Personally, I think it's shameful that it's taken this many films to finally introduce a more powerful villain from the DC universe, but I don't think Marvel's Civil War had anything to do with it at all.

FWIW, I think so far, DC's television offerings have been better than Marvel's. I had hope for Agents Of Shield but for the most part, it's been pretty bland and uneventful. I do like Agent Carter though. In my opinion, Gotham is easily the best of all the small screen adaptations of comic book properties, even though it's a separate entity to the Arrow/Flash/Supergirl universes.

I think BvS opens north of $160 million, and probably closer to $170m-175m despite it's run time. I suspect it will get 4100+ screens, so that is easily doable. As long as they don't try to make a Marvel movie, I think this will be a good flick.

Daredevil>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Gotham. It's not even close.

Luthor is a plausible villain for Superman. He's smart enough to know that Superman will not just go at him without probable cause. Otherwise, he'd prove Luthor right about him. Superman tries to win peoples hearts. To do that, he has to follow the law. The fight between Luthor and Superman is more psychological (and ideological) than it is physical.

I've been on top of the reactions for this movie like crazy. The worst things I've heard are a few people saying things to the effect of, "Good not great." And you can imagine what the best reactions are. Some people who have connections to critics think that the fans and the critics are not going to agree on this movie. Maybe he knows quite a few critics who plan on giving this a rotten review or something when the embargo lifts. I hope he is wrong though and critics are not as hard on this movie as I kind of expect them to be. I've heard this is supposed to be a much better Superman movie than MOS was and just a much better movie overall. People seem to be overjoyed after seeing it so that's pretty cool.

I really respect this guy's opinion so this has me pumped. FYI this is not the same guy in the video I posted.

Was just fortunate enough to see an early screening of BvS. As a longtime fan of the comics and tv/films, I have to say my initial reaction is overwhelmingly positive. It really is Batman like we've never seen before and it truly feels like the comics come to life. Affleck is fantastic, Cavill matures more as a hero, and Gadot brings an intense energy that is fitting for Wonder Woman. It really sets up a world that I'm excited to see more of. I'm definitely still riding the higgh, but for right now, I'm so happy and impressed with what they've done with this film.

Daredevil>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Gotham. It's not even close.

My apologies, I suppose I should have specified network TV.

Taking into account their Netflix series changes everything, and yes I agree with you. Daredevil is fantastic, although so far this season you-know-who has stole the show, to the point almost where I no longer care about DD. Just bring on the you-know-who's series please.

Even Jessica Jones turned out way better than I expected, although it's Luke Cage I'm far more interested in now.

Ironically enough, DC's received a fair amount of criticism over their recent film offerings for being more dark, more mature and gritty, and more violent. The exact same reason why I believe Marvel has enjoyed so much success with their Netflix series'. Not being bound by network programming restrictions and taking it to a more mature audiences.

One of the biggest reasons I enjoyed Man Of Steel was that edgy violence and darker overtones. Obviously I'm in the minority, but I've always felt that even though the witty dialogue Marvel injects into all it's films is enjoyable I don't find it stands up to repeated viewings that well if you're older than a teenager.

can't wait for batman ft. superman!

always thought dark knight movies were way better than any marvel movies out (minus batman's fight scenes)

The hype is real, but I'll remain skeptical and keeps my expectations moderate. I'm afraid it's just a bunch of fanboys hyping it up currently.

actually if you're expecting a batman ft. superman movie you might be disappointed. superman's story arc is supposed to be the backbone of this movie from what i hear. after all it did start off as MOS 2.

and like i've said i heard from multiple people this is a better superman movie than MOS was.

I can't disagree with a single thing in this post.:)

Daredevil>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Gotham. It's not even close.

I quit Gotham halfway through the 1st season.

Daredevil's 1st Season - 8/10
Daredevil's 2nd Season - 9.5/10

Daredevil is better in everyway.

i haven't watch Daredevil, looking at other marvel TV show, i was not sure if it is going to be good.

but since everyone here think its that good, i'm going to start to watch it, it will be my first marvel TV show.

but still i think DC has far better TV show overall ( Green Arrow, Flash, Lucifer, LOT, Supergirl and Gotham )

All of those are trash compared to Daredevil, especially Green Arrow since it's more of a direct comparison.
