BATMAN V SUPERMAN v.10 (First Twitter Reactions)

The Joker endangers the lives of innocent men, women and children.

The Joker, despite what Harvey Dent thought of him, is not a mad dog. He's in control of his actions.

You can only guess the future, you can't predict it.

.

He doesnt arrest him so he can escape again, but for him to stay locked, after that any argument is invalid.

Its not even his responsability to stop the Joker, he is a millionaire that could live the life, its not like its a easy task for him since the Joker could easily have killed him many times.

Semantics...semantic everywhere.

Batman knows the Joker will escape from Arkham. This isn't in doubt. Arkham may as well have a revolving door built into it. Locking the Joker up is like a surgeon giving a patient painkillers when he knows he can save the patient's life by operating.

Whether or not the Joker is responsible for his crimes is utterly irrelevant: he will continue to take lives and the only way to stop him is to kill him. Joker won't stop and he won't commit suicide. So it's Batman's moral responsibility to stop him. Permanently. But at heart Batman is a selfish coward. His so called moral code is merely an excuse.

waaahhhh 3 minute trailer ruined 2 n half hour movie. wahh

geez LITERALLY ever since this movie was announced everyone has been shitting on the movie. its looked better and better with each reveal

ppl mad that they released too much information. like they could keep big things secret with internet plumbers and glory seekers pining for info all the time. also if u dont wanna be spoiled, just watch a movies teaser, not the trailer.

also the movie is still months away. stop complaining about cg until the movie is out ya bunch of ladies

Yeah, the whining is pretty ridiculous, but MMA fans whine about literally everything, so it's to be expected.

I thought the trailer was fucking awesome. Affleck's voice as the end is way better than I expected it to be and I thought Doomsday looked cool. People are whining about it being CGI, but if it wasn't CGI, then it wouldn't look that good at all. They're whining about CGI here, but I bet they loved that stupid Avatar movie.

If people preferred to see somebody in a suit to play Doomsday, then they should go watch that Smallville episode. Some characters are better in CGI than they are in a suit. Doomsday looked and sounded sick as fuck to me.

I have high hopes for this movie and so far all the teasers and trailers have looked quite promising to me.

I can't wait for this movie. I have faith in the cast, especially Affleck and also Zack Snyder as the director. I'm confident this movie will be a good one - better than Civil War.

I've watched the trailer like 20 times already. It didn't really spoil anything for me, I expected there to be a big villain in it. If people actually expected it to literally just be Batman and Superman fighting each other, then they're retarded. If it was just that, the movie would be a complete failure.

I love Batman and I want to see him and Superman have a lengthy battle or a few battles here and there, but for it to be based just around the two of them for like 2 1/2 hours wouldn't be that great. There's no substance, there needs to be more than that in it.

I'm very excited and have high hopes for this. These fools can whine all they want, I have faith in the cast and Zack Snyder as the director.

Whats the point in watching batman vs superman fights when we already know what it leads too....

Did you expect the movie would really only be about Batman and Superman fighting each other or something?

Literally, almost every single hardcore fan of Batman and Superman knew that they were going to have to work together at some point to take on a villain. Why else would Wonder Woman and Aquaman be in it?

If the entire movie was literally based around Batman and Superman fighting, it would be a major flop. There's no substance in that at all - I want to see them fight a few times, but if it was just them for 2 hours and 30 minutes, it'd be stupid.

Most people (myself included) guessed that Doomsday was going to be the villain because they showed General Zod's body in a previous trailer and most believed that Luthor was doing some sort of experiment with his body, making a weapon and such.

It was damn near common sense that Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman (and I guess Aquaman?) were going to work together to take on some major villain at some point in the film. Especially when you see General Zod's body.

If anybody here has actually followed and kept up on the movie as much as possible like the nerds (guilty as charged) have, they would see that this trailer actually isn't that much of a spoiler for us. We actually expected a lot of these things. Almost everybody thought Doomsday was going to be the villain in it for fuck's sake, myself included.

I'm more excited for this movie than ever after watching that trailer like 20 times. I guess it's because I've always been a big comic book/superhero fan, and like most, Batman is my favourite superhero and I've always just thought Doomsday was so f'n bad ass. So, y'all can whine your asses off, I'm fucking excited for this shit and I'm going to love this movie, I know I will.

Now, go to bed before Batman shows up to your house and puts you to sleep, young man.

People need to lower their standards on when seeing movies, honestly.

It seems almost everybody goes into a movie expecting an instant fucking classic or something, like they're going to see a movie that is going to be as legendary as The Godfather or some shit.

Just go in and enjoy it for what it's worth. I'm confident it's going to be a good, fun film. I don't expect it to be the fucking GOAT or something but I do expect it to be better than these boring Marvel movies as of late. The last Marvel movie I really enjoyed was the first Thor - everything after that just wasn't as good to me. I liked them still, but they definitely could've been better. It seems like they're half-assing a lot of Marvel films as of late and are just doing a big money grab.

I'm confident this will be a good movie. People are complaining about the trailer showing too much - but all the only real new thing that was shown was Doomsday. And if you have been following to movie as closely as the crazy nerds (myself included) have, Doomsday actually seemed to be pretty obvious as the villain in this movie.

Literally, almost everybody expected Doomsday and I'm really excited he's in it because Doomsday is fucking bad ass. And people complaining about CGI... yeah, I bet you didn't mind Avatar, though, right? It's all good when one movie is nothing but CGI, but another movie has one CGI character. Derp.

If you've seen the episode of Smallville where Doomsday is in it, you'd see why a man in a suit doesn't really work for a character like Doomsday. Sometimes, CGI is the best way of bringing a character to life.

Also, this is just the trailer. It's quite possible that they aren't done editing yet and the Doomsday we are seeing is not final. I don't know if you guys have noticed - but many times there have been trailers where a CGI creature or something is shown, and then the actual movie come out and the CGI looks 100x better than it did in the trailer.

Anyway, I'm super confident in this movie. I have faith in the cast (especially Affleck, his voice is fucking awesome) and Zack Snyder as director. I'm really looking forward to this and the people who are whining, shut up and go watch Civil War instead of you don't like this. OK?

The real men will watch Batman v Superman and you guys can go watch Civil War, which will be exactly the same as every other Marvel movie - nothing new and just a big money grab. They release Marvel movies like Treyarch/Infinity Ward or whatever releases COD games - exact same shit, but people are foolish enough to buy it every single time.

The best Marvel movie is still the first Iron Man, in my opinion. Better than the first Avengers movie, in my opinion. First Iron Man and first Thor are my favourites, but Iron Man is #1 by far, in my opinion. Damn good movie, none of the others come close.

Tell em That209!!!! I hate how many people are crying about this movie! You brought up many good points, kudos. I for one am extremely pumped about this movie, but you know it's the internet and sherdog so these people are going to cry about any and everything.

Trailer revealed a bit too much for my liking.
I won't judge at all until I see the whole movie but by the looks of it I'll keep my hopes low...

The more times I hear this stupid fucking line, the more I hate it,

"You know the oldest lie in American history, Senator? That power can be innocent."

Lex, no one in American history, or any other nation's history for that matter, ever said anything of the sort. Quite the opposite, in fact. Do you even Power corrupts, bro? You're the smartest man on the planet, and you come off sounding like a total retard.

A far superior line would have been,

"You know the oldest lie in American history, senator? In God we trust."

Boom! This perfectly encapsulates what Lex is trying to sell: that one cannot trust beings with God-like power. It's also a perfect tie-in with,

"If mankind won't kill God - the Devil will do it!"

Which illustrates Lex's motivations and world view: he is Lucifer, the ultimate rebel. He will challenge God himself, just to prove that he's better.

I don't like Eisenberg in this role. I think he will suck as Lex. But for God's sake give the guy a fighting chance with a decent script. The person who thought up that line should be fired. Then rehired just so they can be fired again.:icon_evil

Cut this man a check!

Snyder is literally one of the worst film makers out. The dude doesn't have an original idea in his head, and when he attempts, he makes a film like Sucker Punch. I wouldn't give one of America's biggest comic franchises to the dude who made Sucker Punch, let alone TWO of the biggest. Only thing I can think of how Snyder got to this point in making movies is having Sasha Gray like BJ skills.

That being said, This movie will be a huge let down. Much like his Superman remake.

I take him for what he is. A rich man's Micheal Bay.

wouldn't even go that far. Guy should be working in a Denny's as a dishwasher.

Nah', he's a better pure action director than Bay or Emmerich.

Problem with Snyder is that he's billed as some sort of brilliant "visionary" of a director, when he's merely just a schlocky action guy.

Wow, people actually think this will be a great movie. Great compared to what I imagine...

Just watched the trailer. Couple things:

Eisenberg...good to know my initial reaction of him being an awful Luthor has been realized. Cringe-worthy. Yikes. He's scaring me off already.

The title "Batman V Superman" is still dumb as shit, as it looks like they'll have a five minute fight, and then team up.

Why reveal so much? Zod, Doomsday, Superman unmasking Batman(I guess Supes wins the fight)...ridiculous. Leave something to the imagination.

Overall, it looks okay I guess, but it also looks like it has serious potential to be the train wreck everyone was fearing when they first started announcing the mind-boggling casting choices.
