Bare knuckle makes UFC look kinda

you needa travel back n edit that post .. cause 20 years from now you gonna look foolish

Technically that’s probably one of my least foolish posts. And I’m sure I will have more embarrassing moments not connected to this message board to be ashamed of.

Bareknuckle is where the failures of boxing and MMA go to. Anyone that actually has a future in either sport stays in their respective discipline.

The skull is nearly an inch thick of aluminum-like calcium. People break their knuckles all the time fighting in gloves. Gloves also slide off the skin a lot better, so it reduces cuts.

This "homage to the old days of fighting" is ridiculous. Gloves have been worn for all modern day combat once gladiator fighting was frowned upon 500 years ago. It's a novelty because guys get cut easily so it's bloody.

Trying hitting a stationary heavy bag bear knuckle. Put a layer of wood over the top of it and that would probably be similar to catching the forehead of the skull when throwing a punch. For the sake of not needing hand surgery and your opponent not needing stitches at the hospital (or vice versa), let's just stick to gloved fighting. We still get all the knockouts.

It definitely has the kill or be killed raw car crash feeling that a lot more of early MMA had

But "rainbow" is definitely not the right word BKFC is for all! BKFC fans love some Dakota Cochrane!

Greg Hardy could be the Fedor of Bare Knuckle

I watched my first BKFC a few weeks ago and loved it. It was only like $6.99 and in my humble opinion it was well worth it.

I enjoy bareknuckle but there is a lack of talent and money, furthermore a lot of these people competing in bareknuckle arne't bareknuckle fighters, there's actually a lot more technique to bareknuckle than people realize so we largely left with a lot of just bleed bro fights with washed up fighters and a canvas full of blood, not good for these promotions that want to see be seen as legitmate & professional promotions.

I like bear knuckle boxing. I rarely mark it on the calendar, but it's entertaining. I also find it hilarious how some MMA fans will try and shame it. Like they are more sophisticated for watching people choke each other unconscious in a cage. Most people look at them both as forms of low brow entertainment.

I started watching MMA (NHB) in the 90's and a lot of the times it was more brutal and less skilled than modern day bare knuckles boxing. Personally I'm a fan of combat sports in general. I like to watch Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, and Bare Knuckles boxing. I don't get into grappling too much, but I'll still look at the highlights and check the results of things like Submission Underground.
