I think this is all but a guarantee. What exactly does Pettis do better then Edson? Barboza's striking is the best at 155 by far and was pretty much dominating Tony Ferguson until he gassed. His only two other recent losses are being LNP by Michael Johnson and getting Flash KOed by a lucky Cowboy. I think Edson will finish Pettis most likely somewhere at the end of the 1st or beginning of the second. Pettis is just not in his prime anymore. His is a shot fighter. RDA took his soul and Eddie just made him look silly.

I think this fight for Edson is the perfect showcase of his potential and will Distinguish himself as one of the best fighters at 155 in the world. Pettis better days are in his past. I am actually so confident in my predict that I think I will re-mortgage my house and place a sizable bet on Barboza to make some good money. I recommend some you fellow posters do the same as well. Barboza early 2nd TKO do to strikes.

My friend I know you are in a little bit of denial: Anthony was one my favorite fighters too..but Pettis is washed up man. He is just not the same fighter he used to be. I think the injuries really slowed him down. I see nothing else but a lock in my book. Edson will make Pettis look foolish on the feet.
