I hadn't seen a thread on this, apologies if there already is. In yet another one of these kind of attacks in Bangladesh, this time a US Embassy worker named Xulhaz Mannan was a victim (along with a friend of his named Tanay Mojumdar). Groups affiliated with ISIS and Al Qaeda have typically claimed responsibility for slayings like this in the past, though the Bangladeshi govt seemingly insist that these attacks are the result of home grown terror groups.
Whoever did it, fuck 'em. RIP to those who have lost their lives over a senselessly violent ideology.
