Tafa has a beautiful left hook and crazily enough his offence looks as sharp as the world class kickboxers he's facing once he's in his range.
But Tafa's footwork which seems to cut his own combinations short and defence almost doesn't exist it's almost like he just thinks he can eat everything and once both Saddik and Adegbuyi realized this Tafa was pretty much completely picked apart.

I haven't seen Tafa's MMA fights but his game might translate like Rountree's. Rountree struggled early with the same issue of elite offence and below average defence.

Junior Tafa was in bad shape during his GLORY-days, carrying way to much weight. He appears to have lost a lot of weight and his shape is way better now.
It also looks like he developed a lot during the last few years, having a more calculated fighting-style nowadays. He’s got some good boxing-skills, his overhand being very tricky.

Here’s his most recent MMA-fight (finish):

And his most recent boxing-fight (finish):

It looks like Dana White is super pumped for his UFC-debut! :

#TafaGang:cool:

He's in miles better shape, he's fought at 205 before and he's cutting down there again after this fight.

Really good LHW prospect.

That dude Adedbuyi is just massive.
Taking leg kicks from him..... F that!!

and Saddik is even bigger lol
Yeah they’re both very big boys. That tournament final existed out of 540+lbs of hard hitters going at it.

Adegbuyi claimed to have the more tough road to the final and said that’s the reason why he was exhausted and Jamal won the fight (despite JBS being able to fight with just one hand, which also happened to be his “weak” hand, lol).
So last August they rematched in a single fight, with both guys being fresh, and Ben Saddik slaughtered him in the first round

I attended this fight with my friend @TacticalTijs
Tijs was rooting for Benny, I was rooting for Jamal. I filmed the whole thing so if you prefer to watch it from our (almost ringside) perspective, here you go:)

Like I said I was rooting pretty damn hard for Jamal, I’m a huge fan, so don’t mind me screaming sir lol<45>

I know he fought at LHW before in the last few years, but didn’t expect him to cut all the way down their again.
Interesting, how do you know this?

Great thread, big homie. Looking forward to his fight!

Tafa vía being a super badass.
He's trimmed down too. Looks motivated.

Choosing Jamal on purpose is tough. If I was a pro fighter Jamal Ben Saddik would be one of the guys I'd want to fight least out of anyone.

Have to go with Tafa here. I think Usman freezes up and gets cracked, this fight seems like bad news all around for him. Excited to see what an in shape Tafa can do.

His shape? He looked really flabby in the octagon today. Skinny obese with a muffin top.

Who is next in line at your glory hole of GLORY kickboxers?

It was a pretty decent fight in the first round. The last two were incredibly uneventful. Refs need to start rethinking what constitutes a stand up. The activity was pretty minimal for the majority of those 10 minutes.

He needs to go eat wrestling, sleep wrestling and breathe wrestling.
