Is this like a contest? Or choreographed? I'm just curious if he knew the takedown was coming, was definitely very well controlled for a scissor leg takedown.

1st one is a scissor sweep also known in Judo, JJJ and Karate. 2nd one looked accidental.

Alot of the movement in capoeira, even the strikes, are tricks and feints to facilitate takedowns - after a takdedown is where a capoeira game is considered to definitively end.

The playing the video isn't choreographed, but they play like they're from the same 'team', so there's a level of cooperation going on.
