Just my personal opinion. But I get the feeling the women thought she could maybe get more out of him in terms of a relationship with a star.

Among other things #metoo is illuminating how commonly there is a latent desire from some women to make false accusations as redress to grievance. Remove the consequences and provide a little social media encouragement and they come right out of the woodwork.

Aziz Ansari should have taken her words to heart the night before, it sounds like he should have read the situation better to begin with. People don't just feel 'uncomfortable' the day after randomly.
