Three years after the heroic actions of Major (Captain at the time) Huff, he has been presented with the Medal of Valor.
This is the highest recognition for Law Enforcement, equivalent to the Medal of Honor for our military. He was awarded the Medal of Valor for his hostage rescue at an Oklahoma Walmart, in which a knife-wielding maniac abducted a 2 year old girl out of her mothers shopping cart.
