The only thing I don't like about it is how, if Captain Marvel is so powerful, where has she been all this time? Not a single appearance or even a mention? She is so obscure, the only time I ever recall a reference to her is on the X-Men animated series where there was a flashback to her fighting Rogue. (I don't read the comics.) That's waaaay back. And now she's just going to swoop in and save the Avengers after Thanos literally killed half of all life in the universe? Kind of dumb but I'll hold my judgement.

The Captain Marvel movie takes place in the past (1990s?) and she'll have been in an alternate dimension or something at the time of this entire MCU run.
 
Not even sure how the remaining folks can beat Thano. Perhaps getting Hela and Sulfer involved
 
So like where is Dormammu, Agamotto, Aether thingy, Celestials, in all this. Did Thanos wipe them all out? Dr Strange should bring in Dormammu, and let him duke it out with the Thanos.

Nah, Dormammu should still be around. Is the Ghostrider movie a part of the MCU? If so, then you have Mephisto too. There should still be some Celestials around too.
 
she does get different powers after rogue takes them. Thats what was confusing me. shes been through alot of different changes.

also i was confused because magneto kills carol in the 80's. I honestly didnt follow that much about her later but they brought her back.

She was once binary with powers from the white hole. she ended up losing those powers and reverting back to mrs marvel.

She went from Carol Danvers (no powers) to Ms Marvel (very powerful) to losing them to Rogue to becoming Binary and then Warbird to Captain Marvel. Only Binary had different powers and I think she may have kept energy projection from that incarnation. Never killed by Magneto.
Same character, slightly different form her origins, but not by much.
 
Dayum, this movie was fun! I'd pay to watch again!
 
Yeah, this is a straight nine. I loved it.
