Isn’t Groot more than just a tree? Which leads to, his wood is more than just wood and probably takes on the characteristics of Groot....one of which seemed to be “almost indestructible”

Honestly I'm very much of the opinion that Marvel really hit its stride in 2014 so most of the best films would be from then on for me....

Bullshit thor didnt have cheap fucking jokes. THere were many people complaining about the shitty jokes in that film, myself included. Every 5 seconds you had a horrible joke.

I still liked it but IW had their lame jokes too but not as bad as Thor 3

While I understand his absence due to TV. I think it’s a travesty Coulson hasn’t been Fury’s left hand along with Maria Hill’s right hand.

Also, Marvel better find a way to work in the “half the Universe dies” aspect with all their TV properties until the resolution of the next film. Not for the whole season, but end each new season the same way IW ended with key members of the show turning to ash. And once IW wraps up, you can bring them all back. If they don’t, then that would be some DCEU vs. Arrowverse separate but equal BS.

Thor was probably the most badass in this movie imo. The scene where he showed up in Wakanda was one of the best entrances in MCU history.

All 6 stones not being able to stop stormbreaker was surprising.

Crazy. Never followed her comics or character much. Maybe she's meant to replace Sentry, since Marv l must surely have no urge to introduce that Mrs on the big screen.

Carol's one of the more powerful Avengers, period. Given the current roster of heroes, that's not farfetched at all.

I hope he was toying around. No way should Wanda be able to hold Thanos w/ 5 stones back. The way he was struggling to push against her power beam thing was lame as hell. Seriously, with the 5 stones he had he could have just teleported everyone but himself and Vision off the battlefield. But instead of doing the smart thing, he does the "dramatic" thing, because why not.

Wanda in the comics is an omega level mutant with the ability to bend reality to her will(among other things). I think you are underestimating her power level. Yes Thanos is vastly more powerful..... but she is capable of slowing him down like she did
