Agreed. That's why I don't like the scene in the trailer which apparently shows Black Widow standing and banging with the Children of Thanos. Natasha got rape-choked by Winter Soldier. No way she's on the same level as the Black Order. I don't mind her taking out a few mooks, but not the heavy hitters.
Lets hope those are just shots of clips to only feature the super heroes in the trailer but in the movie what we really see is cap, falcon, war machine and black widow try to take on proxima with neither any of them being able to mount an offense on her.
Proxima aint a local, national, world threat, we're talking universal at this point.

We will see . Gamora and Nebula were once Children of Thanos and they have been pretty depowered in the MCU . I would be in favor of those two assisting the Avengers and actually showcasing the skills that earned Gamora the title of most dangerous woman in the Universe.
True she Carried that Big Ass Gun and Fired it on Nebula also , she held on to a Heavy ass Drax at high speeds as they were crash landing, and she killed that Giant Monster in the beginning . You can also argue that she doesn't Besmirch Starlord and the Other Guardians because she wasn't exclusively trying to eliminate them she first and foremost wanted the Orb to take to the collcector.
I don't think we have seen a single MCU character who was introduced at the peak CBU level and that is a good thing.
People complain about Ultron being nerfed but Ultron was not as powerful in the CBU at his intro as he was at his peak.
Again I say it all the time that we geeks who read the comic books want the MCU to simply be an extansions of the CBU and pick up at the levels they were at but that would be death for the MCU. If every threat and every battle was a god tier, universal threat things get boring quick and Squrrel girl reset becomes ineviatble.
It is far better to intro characters and let them grow into power over time as we are now seeing with Thor. That journey is far more intersting than seeing him as Odin Force Thor in the first movie and every one after.

Yeah it avoids the "Superman Dilemma " Supes can basically Tank anything . When he appeared in Justice League and Easily manhandled the League , it was a cool scene but , but from a Narrative stand point it also undermines the Threat the Crappy CGI Steppenwolf was supposed to be, Superman just woke from the dead and he was dominating the Others more convincingly than then they first met The Big Bad.
I'd prefer they Bring Kang to the MCU , or Do a Future Imperefect and Bring in the Maestro Hulk. Ultron being a Robot took away from the some of the face to face interactions for me.

For that to Happen , Marvel should do a Proper Fantastic Four Movie , which would be more impressive than Unfucking Spider Man after Sony mis handled the Character in the "Amazing" versions.
I think Ultron and Red Skull are both real easy to bring back. Ultron could be hiding in someone's cellphone from a story perspective, and Red Skull's "death" seemed like anything but, visually. Those are definitely 2 villains I could see being revisited in the future and made more powerful.
Say Red Skull was teleported by the Tesseract to a far away warrior planet where time moved slower, and over this long period of time he acquired different powers from various enhancements/artifacts and just interstellar combat experience. Ultron could simply take advantage of the numerous tech advancements that have happened in the MCU since Age of Ultron, or something left behind by Thanos, and reform himself in a similar form as Vision. Only way more menacing.
1: Loki dies at the hands of Thanos to save his brother who he knew had the only chance to fighting Thanos. Unlike previous time Loki does die while handing over the infinity stone. In the video where you only see Loki with the Black Order was because Thor was being tortured by Thanos.
Loki as you can see from this photo was not a willing participant while Thor was being tortured. Thanos spears Thors life only to kill Loki and then using the power stone destroys planet Nova.
2: Black Widow kills Proxima Midnight making Thanos pissed at Captain America and Black Widow and makes it personal.
3: Captain America gets his power by being a skrull enough to pull Thanos infinity gauntlet off his hand for a short time much to his surprise but unlike the comic maybe a good guy not a bad guy.
This hidden power may have been hinted in the Age of Ultron where Captain nearly picked up Mjolnir much to the surprise of Thor.
3: The Hulk gets his butt handed to him by Thanos and Black Dwarf. The beating by them is so bad that the hulk becomes fearful of them. Hulk gets his own Hulk armor that has origins from Hulk Buster armor. There is a point where the Hulk gets his mojo back and rips off the armor to trade blows with Black Dwarf.
4:Thor is the only one who can stand and trade with Thanos and we may not see that actually happen till part 2 as he travels with Groot and Rocket to meet with the Elf's who forged the original Mjolnir only to find many of them having been killed by the Black Order. Forcing Thor to take the efforts into his own hands to run the forging machine that possibly been damaged by the Black Order. Groots wood is used to rap the handle possibly giving Thor an additional power not shown in the comics. Groot origin comes directly from a Celestial and has powers that are far greater then he knows but will find out in a fight with one of the Black Order.
5: Most of the Black Order dies in the first Infinity War film sending Thanos into a blind rage playing somewhat into Tony Starks hands setting the stage of the return to earth of Thor and Ironman as well as Guardians to earth in Part 2. You apparently don't see almost anything of Ironman on Earth in Infinity War 1 except ending and he has an epic return to earth much to the surprise of Thanos in AIW 2. Apparently throwing a moon at Ironman is not enough to stop him and his new armor. Thanos is destroyed by removing his gauntlet and Thor finishing the job avenging the death of Loki and ending the war.
Captain Marvel gets introduced in AIW 2 where she travels back from a space battle with Skrull and Kree war and this is the explanation why she was not around for other major Avenger events. You see much to the surprise of others that Captain America may not be who he pertains to be through Captain Marvel exposing his true identity.
Major character who die in AIW 1 and 2.
Captain America
War Machine's Rhodes
Possibly Tony Stark in the future films his appearances will be limited to being an AI and looks at his past.
Kree and Skull become the new threat for the remaining and new Avengers. Well this is my take in what to expect for the AIW 1 and 2.

Ultron comes back in the comics as a woman so yeah very possible we could see ultron back who is way more powerful like the comic version. She can even trade blows with sentry likely the most powerful Avenger.
