I normally wait at least a week until the crowds die down a bit before I go see a movie. But not this time. Booked my ticket for 0925 on opening day morning. 3D Showing.

Which is a shame because DC if done right has as much potential as Marvel.

Unfortunately the current iteration is a steaming pile of horseshit. I liked Man Of Steel but it all went downhill after that. Had high hope for suicide squad but it ended up not being very good. Ben Affleck as Batman was a terrible terrible idea.

I feel DC has More potential because they have better character with more interesting abilities/stories. That said DC should be doing much better than this. I enjoy the cartoons/cartoon movies more.

Wow I’ve never seen such early showtimes. 1030 is the earliest. We’re doing 1230 to accommodate our baby sitter.

They certainly have good villains. The Joker is on par with Thanos and Dr Doom for me. Luthor , Deathstroke , Two Faces and Harley Quinn are solid too. I feel that generally DC is a bit darker and grittier than Marvel. They are trying to do that with the current iteration but it just feel flat and lifeless.

I thought Nolan did a good job with the Dark Knight trilogy. Not everyone agree with this as some think it was too dark and while i agree that it was pretty gritty , it was done in a way that felt omore natural. The current DC movies just feel "forced" if that make any sense. Directors and actors are quite a big part of this. Calvill and Gadot are decent as Superman and Wonder Woman, Margot Robbie was also good as Harley Quinn. I was quite indifferent to Leto as the joker (even tough we didn't saw much of him so it may change in the future) but to me the worst is Affleck as Batman. Not that Affleck is a bad actor but he just doesn't fit the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. He's lifeless while playing the role and he doesn't even seem to enjoy it. Considering that Batman is a huge part of the DC universe that really doesn't help. Jessie Heisenberg also fucking sucks as Lex Luthor. Doesn,t feel credible for one second

That's actually the fourth showing in the cinema I'm going to. The earliest was one minute past midnight!

My theater is doing 9:30 imax showings. Which is great because they're 10 dollars.

I'm going to have to drive close to 3 hours to see it. and i'll fucking do it There are two cinemas (and not IMAX) here but none of them present it in english and i sure as hell am not gonna go see it the first time with french voice overs. Fuck that it just ruin the whole movie for me even though french is my native language lol.

Going to be a good occasion to spend the weekend and go nightclubing in Montreal as well. Infinity War , some drinks on St-Cath/Crescent Street with some old school buddies , good food in quality restaurants and some shopping. Should be a very fun , but costly , weekend.

Dang some of you guys must live in the middle of nowhere. I have like 5 theaters within 15 minutes of me that have showings beginning at 7 pm on the 26th. I thought that was the norm but apparently not

{<huh}

I'm seeing it at 9:25 in the morning.

So i was making light convo with this guy I just met through a mutual friend and I through out there "Hey so you excited for Avengers?"

He responded with a dirty look and said "I dont Marvel"

I honestly couldnt think of anything to say back. Like how ignorant do you have to be to not like a genre with tons of different films.

My buddy then tells me he only watches DC films and hates marvel.

Just a weird story, nothing special but through me for a loop. I see these trolls on social media but never met one in person

It's a war out there, brother. Any DC fools we see on our turf or home theater (temple) get a nasty beatdown.

Same in the ATL nor5hern suburbs....I’m in at 7:30

It would be hilarious if Thanos loses easily just like Ultron. Imagine how mad people would be.
