Good, because Thanos looks really bad in this. There's nothing compelling or sinister about a cartoon in a movie.

The only Marvel film that I would say is actually good, as a stand alone movie, is Winter Soldier. It's good because there's an actual human element as the conflict is between 2 actual humans. Civil War had some good elements, but it wasn't a good movie. It's basically just porn. The rest is just boring. All the characters are too invincible. You can't even keep up with the rules of mortality. Why should anyone care about any of these characters? There are literally no consequences to their actions.

I don't agree with winder soilder being the only good movie but I understand where your coming from. I do agree that Thanos better be a badass and I wouldn't mind seeing him practically invincible. I think Thanos should kill Loki in the first 15 minutes to show his power, and kill at least one main avenger

If you had to guess, what would you think was the most buzz-worthy moment from the Avengers: Infinity War trailer? Spider-Man's slick new costume? Thor meeting the Guardians of the Galaxy? Thanos' menacing speech?

It turns out it was Steve Rogers forgetting to bring his razor when he went into hiding after the events of 2016's Captain America: Civil War.

Captain America's beard generated more than 20,000 mentions on Twitter in the first seven hours of the trailer's release, according to social media research firm Fizziology. To put that number in perspective, that's more than many trailers generate as a whole during the same period (72 percent of trailers get fewer than 20,000 mentions during their first seven hours of life).

The trailer dethroned It (197 million views) as the most viewed-trailer in 24 hours with 230 million views (according to Marvel). Infinity War is also the most talked-about initial trailer during the first seven hours that Fizziology has studied, topping Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Here's the breakdown of the top five talked-about moments from the Infinity War trailer:

Captain America's Beard (20,474 mentions)
Spidey sense (6,100 mentions)
Guardians at the end of the trailer (5,497 mentions)
Get this man a shield (2,180 mentions)
Group together running at end (2,108 mentions)

And the first trailers for a movie with the most mentions within the first seven hours:

Avengers: Infinity War (1,147,438)
Star Wars: The Last Jedi (784,360)
Fifty Shades of Grey (503,392)
Captain America: Civil War (426,015)
Black Panther (353,410)

Isn't IT the most watched ever ?

Also what the heck is 50 shades doing on that list.

If Thanos CGI is a C, what in the blue hell is an A?

The exciting thing about seeing Spiderman, and this Avengers trailer and seeing ALL of these characters TOGETHER. This is nothing like the crappy original 3 Spiderman movies. This is a comic universe brought to movie life.
The excitement is for seeing these characters together, seeing all the movies come to one point, and to see them face Thanos.
Da fuck you talking about boy, Spiderman 1 and 2 (2 specially) are some of the best comic book movies of all time.

My exact thoughts, never understood the love for marvel outside of cap 2 and guardians. The avenger movies were terrible same for the iron man/thor films. The heroes are never in any sort of actual trouble killing mindless pawns. Simple things for simple people I guess.

It's funny that Steve Rogers' beard got the most positive mentions in the trailer while Warner Bros.' choice to butcher Henry Cavill's face to remove his CGI mustache had the opposite effect. <45>

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I hate Tobey Maguire as Spiderman.
1 was good at the time because it was new, and it felt like the first time film was able to do Spiderman justice, but i hated all the Peter Parker stuff, and Dunst is a terrible Mary Jane.
2 wasn't bad actually, but it still suffers from the same problems of having Maguire and Dunst...the Spiderman shit was pretty cool though

@Dragonlordxxxxx Oh, you sly seductress, I shall not give in to temptation and read your posts! I want this movie to be a surprise. haha

"Terrible"?
Not being your cup of tea is one thing, but "terrible"?

It’s a comic book movie....
  • The good guy will win
  • The bad guy will lose
  • There will be jokes
  • There will be costumes that make no sense
Marvel has gotten to a point that they can afford to kill off Iron Man or Cap (2 of their biggest stars) and still be successful. That would have been financial suicide if they had done that 5 years ago. It’ll be like burying Hulk Hogan in the 90s or asking Brady to sit behind Matt Cassell after the 2007 season. Marvel’s looking to maximize profits above all else and the fact that they are able to do that and still churn out great entertaining movies is remarkable. See DC.

Killing off super heroes/villains is bad business. However that being said, if people don’t die in this film I’ll be right next to you saying this sucks.
