There's an even darker interpretation; Spiderman has a superhuman metabolism, enhanced bones and muscles, and heals quicker than a normal human. His powers were probably trying to fight off his impending death, which only made it last longer...

Wouldn't that apply to Black Panther, Drax, etc as well? They just went out in a puff of wtf.

Imagine youre about to bone the hottest girl youll ever have a chance with

And right before mjolnir gets placed into the hammers locker...it starts disintegrating and you float away...

As a long time comic fan I never thought I'd see that happen. Just goes to show how badly DC fucked it up.

I think you have to give Marvel (or Disney or whoever's calling the shots on the MCU side) a lot of credit for playing a masterful long con, too. Their movies have been consistently better than the DC ones, but the franchise as a whole is visionary on an entirely different level. The idea of a "Cinematic Universe" is insanely ambitious, and was probably viewed as such by many when it was first presented.

DC has made some blunders, but they aren't a bunch of screwups. Just screwups by comparison.

It's an insane amount of money.

And yeah, Warners need a slap. How they can not be smashing records with the trinity is beyond me. Sadly it seems beyond them too.

Here are some interesting notes from the Russo brothers on one scene. Really gives you an appreciation for the technical detail.

On another note, I don’t think there will be a five year time jump like I’ve been hearing about (based on the age of Ant Man’s daughter). I feel like they would have to recast Spider Man’s supporting cast if they do that and probably even Shuri from BP.

DC’s biggest mistake was putting the cart before the horse. They thought they could jump straight to the big crossovers without doung the solo movies first and it blew up in their faces.

The solo movies is where you test the characters, see what works and what doesn’t and then course correct before the big crossovers.

Universal made the same mistake, they overloaded the first movie of their Dark Universe with setup for the cinematic universe and it tanked the movie.

What if Jackman's Wolverine is in the next one in a perpetual state of almost turning into dust?

I have to disagree with that. In 2008 and 2012 WB had two $billion earners with Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises. They haven't hit that number since, and drove the franchise so far into the ground that their team up movie couldn't even clear $700 million. That is majorly screwing up.

I really enjoyed the little things about the movie here’s a list below:
1. Thor can understand the same language as Groot.
2. Captain American introduces himself when Groot speak, not knowing those are the only words he say
3. Characters development between Thor and Raccoon. It didn’t feel force but more of them having things in common.
4.Star Lord team vs Ironman Team
5. The orders of the gems and how they affect the others, ex- Thano had to get the time gem first in order to reverse Vision’s death. Otherwise, Thano would never be able to get mind gem since Vision was destroyed.

6. Soul gem greatly causes Thanos to show remorse and guilt over Gamora’s death.
7. The Collector’s death.
8. Ebony Maw was baddass
9. Captain America’s intro had audience going nuts
10. Thor creating the stormbreaker
11. When everyone fade and dies in the end, there weren’t any over dramatic crying and shouting, just more like shock
12. Stardlord attempted to be macho by imitating Thor’s voice

Well, he COULD, he would just have to rewind time back further once he got the time gem. I wonder if they did destroy it if Thanos could use the reality gem to recreate it (or just make them all, though that'd be a quick movie, lol)

Also, I feel like maybe I lost track of things a little bit, but why didn't they just destroy the time gem instead of the moral quandries with vision? That plan wasn't formed until Strange left earth right? (and why not magic portal back to earth? they dont travel that far? {other than meta reasons of trying to advance a plot of course} )

The starlord voice thing was great
