Hahah. I loved the snotty way he says I am Groot there. There were a lot of funny lines and moments but I think that one and Drax creepily standing and watching Gamora and Quill before stating that he had been there an hour were the biggest laughs I had in the theater.

My prediction is we get her back and Vision too just repair the android, they dropped hints with the he is still a big part him and whatnot.

So in the end the real danger is on Loki and the gatekeeper Elba. Loki was in and out a bunch of times so we are used to him being removed and about the other not sure if he has many fans to matter.

Bigger question would be will they sacrifice someone that really matters in part 2 ?

Yeah, i actually do believe both Vision and Gamora are not dead forever. Shuri seemed to have saved his mind before Thanos' henchman broke in, and I believe there will be someway that Gamora comes back.

But again, for me, that doesn't cheapen what I saw in IW. They still did a good job of making those scenes real.

Loki is toast there is no way for him to get out from this death, they even mentioned this with Thor, it will be ridiculous to have him yet again find a loophole he dead, he is mad in his house cause no more checks from Disney. Gatekeeper dude doesn't matter and Elba has plenty of work he won't be affected by a side small role.

You know what Nebula could be the sacrifice for her sister so yea that seems very plausible to me. Boy they sure did a lot of bad stuff to her, no love at home or anywhere and I started to like her more "promises promises".

Now the big name that has to go and give us some gravitas in the next movie is either Tony or Cap that's my best bet. If he needs to die with an improvised Gauntlet, from all that power then it's Cap imo.

PS: did you guys liked that new shield of Cap's ? the heck was that about look very not him like he needs his stuff back.
Also how would Tony comeback to Earth well he has Nebula and knows the zone most likely.

Hawkeye is safe he is the blue collar hero, the average Joe's hero showing he can make it in reality the dude wouldn't be qualified for the Defenders let alone the first team.

That new nano suit is way OP. By that comparison, with the new suit, Ironman can beat the Hulk without the hulkbuster armor.

That isn't how the stones work.
Simply having them doesn't give you power, and they all have different powers. And the stones powers are activated when Thanos closes his fist.

Hulk got beat by Thanos using the POWER stone.
Thanos didn't use the stones on Cap. He punched him with the opposite hand.
Tony and his team were keeping Thanos' hand open so that he couldn't use the stones. And when he did use them he took out the Guardians and the rest of the group

He and Lang will definitely have substantial roles in the sequel in my opinion. The thing is will they go real dark and have Ant-Man’s daughter and Hawkeyes wife and/or kids among those that died. I feel like something like that will be the case in order to really make the stakes higher for the character or to play up the nothing to lose mentality.

Imagine if everyone did stay dead and they continue the MCU with more IronMan, Cap, Thor movies. No BP, no Spiderman, no GotG.

No way in hell they’ll do it, but that would definitely be a surprise.

New Avengers: Cap, Hulk, Vision, Wasp, War Machine, Ronin and Black Widow

GotG aka the Revengers: Thor, Rocket, Iron Man, Valkyrie, Captain Marvel and Nebula

The 2019 Spidey movie will be a Spiderverse movie featuring different Spider-Men and women from all over the multiverse. Holland will be a different universe Spidey, Miles from the animated movie will be there, Tobey and Garfield can show up.

Black Panther 2 will be about Shuri becoming Queen helping to try and restore her wrecked country and the crippled planet.

They are sitting out because of their family. .but even when they sit out shit still comes.
I think this is what pushes them to go all in.

So in the scene where Tony Stark pulls out that old phone that Cap gave him, and he was mulling it over debating on if he should call cap or not. This felt like a long scene, the audience was quiet ... Stark was looking at that phone.

Through the silence my wife yells out "JUST DO IT!!!!"

And she put both hands over her mouth to shut herself up cause she was even surprised she did that, people around laughed. Good times
