I know dude
I'm still in a state of shock
Can't fucking believe they really did it.
We finally got to see Thanos kill half the universe.
I love how it fried the gauntlet, just like in the comics. Now the good guys are probably going to get it and undue all Thanos achieved.

And Josh Brolin killed it as Thanos.

not only that, but he's the protagonist. It's his movie. I didn't realize this was only part 1 - thought they axed that when they changed the titles. So the whole time I expected Thanos's arc to wrap up. At the end I was waiting for something positive to happen and then it cut to black. Just insane. Total awesomeness

One last thing to add for now, Drax is the funniest character in the MCU, Some of his lines in the movie had me in stitches. Batista does comedic timing very well.

100 percent!

He really has a knack for it.

Yeah, the gauntlet being fried is crucial imo
I think Strange's plan has two key parts: A scenario in which Thanos succeeds fully and so the gauntlet gets wrecked, and then following from that the cosmic kill order just happens to leave all the people alive needed to find him and take back the stones. Stark is alone, but he's still on Titan (for example). If Tony died but Peter lived instead, maybe the whole thing is fucked. An infinite number of variables due to the specific random people left alive.
Brolin was absolutely outstanding. Slam fucking dunk performance.

@KnightTemplar

Thor's line to Rocket about having nothing left to lose hit me in the feels as much as any of the other scenes , it made me think about Rocket Connecting with Yondu Last year , but more importantly you get the realization that despite the idiots calling the MCU too light Thors Arc is pretty bleak . He lost both his parents , his home ,his brother his people . His is a quest for Justice, but more so justified quest for Revenge

Great moment.

10/10

Can't believe they pulled this off

I said the same thing in the theater. But about my pants. The cops didn't seem to care tho.

I feel like this version of the GOTG has been the best. They were all awesome.

The invisibility bit was so killer man. I was crying. The guardians really gel well. Looking forward to their next movie.

Random Thought

Josh Brolin will Rival Chadwick Boseman for biggest Box office winner. Brolin has Deadpool in May which is tracking for 15p mil opening and also will be in the sequel to Sicario.

So you're telling me people wait 10 years not to get spoiled and then come here to get info after the movie is already out? That's complete BS. Everyone that is here has seen it and those who haven't aren't going to read this.
You assume the posters that haven't watched the movie yet do not read these threads. I know for a fact that there's a lot of regular posters/lurkers (who haven't seen the movie yet) that read the reactions in the thread and to get the general consensus for the movie. Why not help them out and give them a safe zone to read about it, instead of trying to find info out there and potentially be spoiled about it.

Nobody is prohibited from talking about the movie, just put the spoiler parts in a spoiler box. Besides, this is just temporary and you guys can talk about the movie without spoiler box after the US opening weekend.

10/10!

Fuck it it’s what been I’ve been waiting forever. The fact they pulled this off is unbelievable! 11/10! No 20... no 100!!!! out of 10!,,,,

Also for the ones that tear up in movies:

I was doing a good job holding it down until I saw Peter Parker begging to “mr stark” that he didn’t want to die. The tears started flowing then!!! Damn they did a great job.

yeah that was deep... the part that caught me out the most was when Spiderman turned to dust in Tonys arms, it was right then that you realise "oh right.... he's just a kid".

Brilliant theory.

Question,

Was it really fried tho? I mean he was able to teleport in an instant.

You called what?

Just saw this. Just got home. I gave it a ten. The Infinity Gauntlet was one of my favorite comic storylines and even with the many differences in the film it was amazing to see. This movie flows like few other action films I've seen. Not even sure how long it is. Truly epic.

Red Skull being connected to the Soul Stone;) I called that before I saw the movie.

That was great too when you consider he sees Tony as a father Figure, and you consider Stark was taking about kids with pepper early in the flick.

Absolutely loved their intro song for this movie.
It's legit one of my favorite songs. I heard the first damn note and was like "Yaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssssssss motherfuckers!!!!!"
PERFECT.
