The original clip was really wide but short... & so I had to cut most of the sides out.

This is the original

just a few things i was thinking about and i dont really care if they answer them, just curiosity.

so that final scene with fury, would it be safe to think he knows thanos plans? He knows tony is off planet because of the news that showed it.

So when he calls for code red is that a plan for thanos? or was that upgraded once he saw hill vanish because he calls for code red before the vanish of her, then sprints to his beeper for captian marvel.

one of my questions would be why would he contact her in the case of vanishing people on earth or does he know that thanos was able to complete his quest and now needs to bring the universes big guns

Its all somewhat reconned I spose to explain her absence but seeing random people crumble to dust all around you is a pretty credible claim to being worse than say Ultron or Loki's invasion that did at least have some solution on offer. I really don't know much about her character but I wonder whether the film is going to paint her as somehow dangerous? as in someone you'd call as an absolute last resort.

What do you think Steve, Black Widow, and Falcon have been doing all this time?

Not sure we'll see it but there does seem to be some potential for a love triangle between Rogers, Widow and Banner, the Avengers films have obviously pushed the latter two together but the Russo's Cap films have if not directly pushed him and her havet setup some tension and obviously had her character converted to his moral view.

I don't think Steve wants anybody to die. And as the ultimate optimist and idealist, and this may sound crazy, I think he always has a hope that no one will die, even with past experience that people die in conflicts. He asked T'Challa to not just remove the stone from Vision's head but also to help protect him while doing so. I think he made that request thinking they could still win with 0 casualties.

It would be interesting if they did a time jump in the next film and showed that earth was thriving after what Thanos did. Then Steve can reflect on his idealism and moral view.

Maybe Kang the Conqueror will try to restore that timeline on some occasion..

Nice!!! Looks good bro!!!

l@nd0

Love that scene too... & the similar one from Thor where they start playing Led Zep as he kicks ass.
did they play Led Zep in IW?? if so I totally missed it lol

Yeah I think withholding Cap getting his traditional shield back is like Hulk being unwilling to emerge after getting KTFO or the audience never getting a Cap/Stark reunion...saving some big moments for the sequel. HYPE!

MCU Steve Rogers may never get his shield back as Marvel may just transition him to Nomad like the comics.

Isn't Scarlet Johannsen's character just some regular chick? Like no superpowers or anything? How was she kicking the female alien's ass in the first fight they had? I thought those two Thanos underlings were supposed to be super bad asses, no?

The weird psychic priest alien dude was criminally underused, thought he was the most interesting character in the film after Thanos. The way they threw a car at him and he just slices it in half without moving was badass. Thanos was brilliantly done for the fact this was a comic book movie, first Marvel villain that I actually gave a shit about.

Also best joke in the film was the one about Kevin Bacon joining the Avengers. I'm not really big into comic book movies but I thought this one was really well done, definitely worth the hype.

If you’re a movie star and you do Karate there is not a force in the universe that can defeat you

I wouldn't have been mad if they played Immigrant Song for Thor when he showed up in Wakanda. I was kind of expecting it tbh. Thor's actual score is one of the weaker ones of the MCU, but playing Immigrant Song and watching him lay waste to some fools again would've been pretty sweet.

I just remember him slinking into a space stone portal - but somehow do not remember the finger snap

Or I guess might of thought that was a portal opening snap

Guess it was a multi-purpose snap

Also never noticed Thanos making a surprised face at the snap

Will be watching this scene very hard tonight

man I can't believe you missed that.

Thor was hollering at Thanos "What did you do!? What did you do!?" before Thanos disappeared through his portal opening.

I am just wondering if he even needed to do a snap to kill half of the galaxy...

I know! I'm bothered at missing it too.

Like was it an obvious snap that was loud? Did he lift his hand and snap it in the audience's face with a loud snapping noise or was it more subtle? Was this when I spilled skittles all over myself in the theater??? Is this a result of reality manipulation?

This movie is going to be hard to rewatch cause I'm going to be yelling at all the heroes.

JUST LET VISION DIE!!! HE WANTS TO DIE!! IT'S THE BETTER OPTION!!!

STAR LORD NO!!! JUST WAIT 5 SECONDS TO PUNCH HIM!!!

Dr. STRANGE JUST KEEP THE TIME STONE SAFE ASSHOLE!!!

etc etc

Cap's inability to make sacrifices, and other heroes in general was a big weakness vs Thanos who did ANYTHING to get his goal.

Just eat your theater poutine quietly.

I went and watched it in the cinema twice and the 2nd time I watched it I literally said Dinklage's "Yes...... thats what killing you means!" out loud slightly before he said it lol

was expecting people to freak out at me once Id realised what I done, luckily no-one heard me(or no-one reacted)

lol - I've never yelled things out during a movie but I posted recently about my wife:

So in the scene where Tony Stark pulls out that old phone that Cap gave him, and he was mulling it over debating on if he should call cap or not. This felt like a long scene, the audience was quiet ... Stark was looking at that phone.

Through the silence my wife yells out "JUST DO IT!!!!"

And she put both hands over her mouth to shut herself up cause she was even surprised she did that, people around laughed. Good times

Some of the Black Panther stuff wasn't up to snuff either but nothing and I mean nothing made me so astonished as that fucking moment. Took me right out of the movie.

.

From my understand she gets her powers from another guy similar to her from outer space. The beeper Fury had was certainly not a normal beeper. So my only guess is that in the movie she's in she'll get her powers do something on earth to save everyone and in the end leave to help the universe or go train with the guy who gave her the powers. She most likely at that point or sometime in the movie meet Fury and be given a beeper so they can contact her if they need help again.

How about her powers are SO awesome that she can hardly control them, she's dangerous - in her own movie she'll probably almost destroy the world saving it? (and nobody will remember these events)

So she's like "I'm dangerous as shit I gotta go train for 30 years so page me if you need me but I'm dangerous"

And then during Avengers and Ultron and etc Fury thinks about it and is like "hmmmmmmmm not yet that bitch is dangerous"

But now it's like what have you got to lose

????

How else does it make sense he didn't call her all this time

I don't think the movie will explain that to me in a satisfying way, and I'll be really pissed off if they just ignore that logic flaw and don't call it out

I'm going to give Marvel the benefit of the doubt. With so many movies and complicated plots they've done pretty well with covered plot holes.

"hmmmmmmmm not yet that bitch is dangerous" - This was hilarious cause I can seriously see SJ saying it like that if it wasn't a disney movie anyways.

I do kind of wish they'd not added that line though, Thor's "only if I die" alone was funny enough without needing to point it out.

meh I liked it.... personally thought it was Dinklages funniest line

Captain America wouldn’t do well in the Kobyashi Maru test. He’s not capable of making the hard decisions (like killing vision to save trillions).
