If they ever show the One-Above-All, it better be Stan Lee. Then they should explain his appearances in all of the marvel movies as him watching over humanity or something.

I don't think Steve wants anybody to die. And as the ultimate optimist and idealist, and this may sound crazy, I think he always has a hope that no one will die, even with past experience that people die in conflicts. He asked T'Challa to not just remove the stone from Vision's head but also to help protect him while doing so. I think he made that request thinking they could still win with 0 casualties.

It would be interesting if they did a time jump in the next film and showed that earth was thriving after what Thanos did. Then Steve can reflect on his idealism and moral view.

"This job... We try to save as many people as we can. Sometimes that doesn't mean everybody, but, if we can't find a way to live with that, Next time... maybe nobody can be saved."

Bro, it's the slow burn. The payoff will be epic when STOAAN Lee emerges.

"You can't save everybody. That doesn't stop you from trying."

He has the experience of reality, but he also has the ideals and his optimism. You try because it can be achieved. That is the clash of Steve Rogers. He's not the most rational.

I really shortened the quote lol

Steve may not be the most rational, but he has the strongest morals and that leads to his decision making being some of the best out of anybody.

Well see if his decision making is the best in the next movie but he's got super powered goodness. It inspires loyalty in others. He was also trying to comfort Wanda, his adopted daughter. He has to bring her up to his 0% casualties ideal. Which she exhibits when she doesn't want to kill her most logical robot boyfriend.

Nobody is a better tactician when the chips are down than Cap. I agree with your post. Good points.

Interesting points you made. I wouldnt mind it heading towards this direction of steve and everyone else reflecting on the events leading up to IW.

Do you think Cap and Iron will set aside any personal beef and build their relationship back again after this massacre?

I look at this meme a couple of times a day and it makes me LOL every time.

Yes, they'll hug it out and then Iron Man will name his kid Steve Jr.

Apologies for interjecting, but I'd think they'd have to at this point. The events of Civil War pale in comparison.

I thought more people would be talking about how they had to work overtime in order to make it seem like Robert Downey Jr was eye to eye with any of the Chrises.

I hate the bleeding edge CGI, aside from the slow-mo intro. It just does the face reveals no favors. The two things I hate about CGI masks is when the head size doesn't fit the body and when the face doesn't react when the mask gets pulled away. It's like taking a punch but reacting in the opposite direction. War Machine cuts a better figure because it seems more like armor, or a suit on a man. Whereas Ironman isn't much bulkier than Tony Stark, which makes sense when it comes to nanites, but after the first two solo films Ironman had been pretty diminutive. Like RDJr.

What is RDJ's height. Cause he seemed to dwarf Ruffalo and I thought in Zodiac they were pretty close in height. Also, he looked close to Cumberbatch and that dude is 6 ft tall or so I believe.

If RDJ is 5'10 or so and Ruffalo is like 5'7 this all makes sense but yeah I did think he looked taller than I've assumed he was.

I wasnt a big fan of the new mini shields compared to him throwing his and hitting like 5 people. I feel like if he had his shield he could of taken on that swarm by himself lol. Really though he felt like he was limited with those things

Yeah I think withholding Cap getting his traditional shield back is like Hulk being unwilling to emerge after getting KTFO or the audience never getting a Cap/Stark reunion...saving some big moments for the sequel. HYPE!

I am seeing 5’8 or 9 for RDJ. Close the same height as Ruffalo.

When they’re on screen is RDJ wearing his Iron Man suit? If so it’s supposed to add several inches.
