Can't say it'll be the same for you but Guardians vol 2 was much much better for me upon rewatching it. I think I like it better than the first.

First movie is all about unapologetic while introducing the characters. Second is all about tugging on your heart-strings. Most of the characters have a pretty satisfying emotional arc aside from Drax and Baby Groot (who's not just the comic relief, I still don't understand how this film made me feel protective towards a CGI bonsai tree).

Tell me this scene doesn't hit you right in the feels:

Such a fantastic ending to a movie. A dysfunctional family finding comfort and peace in each other after a loss.

In space!

Marvel can make the most unlikely scenarios and characters work.

They current Drax with the Daggers was inspired by making him like Riddick , which means it's lame.
Totally agree. DIdn't comic book Draxx actually kill Thanos with a knife at one point?

theory-why-didnt-thanos-attack-earlier-because-odin-ego-and-32035629.png

there are only plenty of marvel characters who can beat a thanos with infinity gauntlet.
the living tribunal, one above all and that superior cosmic character stuff.

i dont think that ego can handle a thanos with all stones.

100 percent. Definitely going to make the sacrifice play. It will be an epic moment and bring on the feels I’m sure.

Only question is whether Tony goes out too or he gets a retirement story angle.

I’d lean toward the latter but could see it going either way and doubt Cap will be the only OG Avenger to die fighting the good fight.

I'm thinking this:

Going back to the Thursday premiere, I had posted this

"I voted excellent (on the poll), but i gave it a 9.5/10 rating. It probably doesn't make sense, but that's what i'm going with."

So I'm not sure how my vote ended up with the 8's.

Anyway you can fix this @Dragonlordxxxxx ?

It's the charm and charisma of the characters in the marvel universe. Somehow, in this overly corporate world, people that understand what makes these characters special ended up making these movies.

Yes during the Annihilation event. Kind of a story there though. Thanos realized he messed up by helping Annihilus. He'd allied with him and the other two galactus level entities from the beginning of time.

They captured and enslaved Galactus and we're going to use him to power a doomsday weapon. Drax killed Thanos while he was freeing Galactus from the machine. He heard him coming but decided he deserved to die, and let Drax kill him while he freed galactus and silver surfer.

Extra Rare good guy Thanos moment.

Finally watched it tonight and had managed to avoid spoilers.

It was amazing and totally met my expectations. Such a huge movie. The word epic gets thrown around a lot, but that was truly epic.
