He certainly make it sound like Capt America will die. Not that it would be a big surprise since people expect Capt to die since civil war and considering that Evans is done with the MCU but still,.

I don,t think he could make it more obvious with his sort of farewell tweet haha

lolz yup, if Hulk didnt even stand a chance with 1 gem what makes cap with 5 even last longer hehehe. If any dude toyed with him and was probably impressed us peons stood up to him at all. But I think it would have been better if Thanos appeared in the main battlefield and took all of them at once.

I think it's a bit odd with how open they are basically saying he's going to die.. Why spoil that?

I'm thinking he's going to be transported to another dimension and time or ironically the Space Stone randomly transports him somewhere. In like 5-7 years he can come back and they'll do an Avengers movie where they go on a mission to find him.

Cap retiring doesn't make sense but neither does spoiling his death..
 
Judging by how the Disney XD cartoon Avengers Secret Wars is making Black Panther the new leader of less known/popular Avengers: Capt Marvel, Vision, Ms. Marvel, Wasp, I'm guessing those live action actors have smaller salaries and will be the ones replacing Iron Man and Capt America and Thor and Hulk.

He's talking about how much of an honour it was to play the role of Cap for 8 years. There's also been rumours of his contract being done and him wanting to stop playing Cap.

Cap the character wouldn't ever retire, it wouldn't make sense. So if he's talking about being done as Cap, then him dying makes sense. I'm not sure I buy it though because they're being too open about it. That's why I think he'll be "taken out" in some form instead and then come back down the road.

Ah yea I don't think he dies. I think something else will happen different universe or something like that. Then again I do think a death (even if obvious at this point) would be a nice way to end the original avengers.

Sounds like your typical farewell post, really. You enjoy doing something for 8 years, of course it's going to be bittersweet leaving the franchise behind. He could have posted the exact same post if Cap did survive.
 
Like every other MCU fan, I can't wait to see Avengers 4. But a part of me is also dreading it. As Tony himself said, "We're in the Endgame now". It will be the final time we see characters we spent up to ten years falling in love with. The MCU will never be the same again.

Well yeah indeed

Evans was a good Capt. Personally i don,t want Falcon or Bucky to become Capt. If he dies just leave the character rest in peace. Would be more symbolic and less anticlimatic imho

Dr Strange said that quote, not Tony when, Tony asked him 'why he gave Thanos the Stone' when he traded it for Tony's life.
