Storm Breaker is orders of magnitude more powerful than Mjlonir; it channels the power of the Bifrost, which was capable of destroying entire planets. There are limits to what even the Infinity Gauntlet can do. Storm Breaker cut right through Thanos' shields and lodged in his chest. To put that in perspective, Tony hit Thanos with everything he had in the most advanced suit of Iron Man armour yet built. All he managed to do was open a small cut on Thanos' cheek.

Can it shatter reality? What's stopping the Reality Stone from turning it into @Treeloy's incoming inheritance or something?

I still think Thor benefitted from catching Thanos off-guard in that moment. Otherwise wouldn't Thanos just Reality Stone Stormbreaker into a burrito before it hits?

Yes Thor benefitted from surprise in a few ways. First Thanos was still reeling a little after absorbing all the power of the Gaunlet with all the Stones. You could see him adding Visions last Stone took quite a bit of effort.

Next Thanos never expected Thor to have a weapon capable of withstanding the gauntlet. Remember the dwarf created a weapon capable of beating him. I suspect there would have been other counters Thanos could have done to stop Storm Breaker but he was just expecting to brute force and blast it and that did not work and while he was reeling already he got caught.

It probably takes more effort to change a weapon capable of shattering planets than a knife or handgun. And Thanos probably figured his shields would be able to stop Storm Breaker easily enough. By the time he realised the true power of the weapon, it was sticking out of his sternum.

First Allegedly AVENGERS 4 Promo Art Features a New Look for Some Characters

Look right behind Iron Man's right shoulder. It looks like a stone, might be Hulks hand with a Gauntlet on. If so, that's probably one way they manage to defeat Thanos. Also, a Professor Hulk type character on screen would be cool. I like the way Hulk is evolving in the movies. I mean the raging monster who can barely speak is cool, but gets old after awhile.

Vision is a robot more or less and will be repaired.

Gamorrah is doing some shenanigans with being trapped inside the gem.

Ya I think some type of merger or cooperation between Banner and Hulk is imminent.

It is clear that both Banner and Hulk resent the other for always trying to bury and lock away the other personality. Banner mentioned how scary it was being gone for almost two years in TR and how he felt he was never coming back. Well Banner has similarly locked Hulk away for those long periods of time and Hulk is tired of being pulled out willingly by Banner only to fight a nasty foe and then Hulk is hated after by everyone.

So some type of Professor Hulk is coming, I would bet, who may not have the brute force ferocity strength but who can fight far more strategic.

Repairing the robot part of Vision is easy (Stark can just name one of the Iron Legion the new Vision), it is the aspects that gave him sentience that have never been replicated with out the Stone. The key to that IMO will be whether or not Shuri was able to map enough of his neuro network and what makes it work to be able to transplant and recreate it without the Stone. Of course I think she will.

I think it's more than that. I think Thanos knew exactly what was going to happen but he allowed it cause he knew he'd survive it. Add the pain to his penance. All he cared about was wiping out half of the galaxy.. A bit of pain for that would be nothing to him...
