Writers of Avengers endgame where at ComicCon and said some crazy stuff mostly about professor Hulk and that when he was originally slated to put the gauntlet on he was originally not to lose use of his arm but the directors changed the course because they decided it was going to create problems with the story ark. He was going to become the red hulk "Instead of the general Ross" or potentially world breaker hulk or some form of even bigger problem and create even more problems for the Avengers. Mostly it seemed like the red hulk was thrown around a lot more then people really could have imaged. It was the directors who put the end to that idea as they where decided what would make it into the film. They at that time knew what it did to Thanos and they figured something similar had to have happened to the hulk. The directors even said they prefer if he never gets to use his arm again or do a bucky to him and create an artificial limb.
There are two Capt Murica in Caps' new timeline. Peggy is probably getting double penetrated by them Caps.Timeline, schmimeline,

I've been afraid to come into this thread because I thought Infinity War was leaps and bounds more entertaining and a more focused, tighter film than End Game.
Doesn't the Hulk having healing ability like Wolverine? What? So the Hulk wont get to use his arm again? That's stupid.
Doesn't the Hulk having healing ability like Wolverine?
I cant sgree those movies suck, but Whedon cant land the punch on big dramatic moments properly. It would've sucked like Avengers and Age of Ultron.
yes.Doesn't the Hulk having healing ability like Wolverine?
Doesn't the Hulk having healing ability like Wolverine?
yes.
But the argument would be that wielding the Gauntlet with all the Stones is a power that extracts a cost beyond what they can heal, if they go that route.
It would be like asking if a reality warper the level of full power Scarlet Witch could simply will Wolverine out of existence or would his heeling power just keep reconstituting him? In what they show of the big bad reality warpers, Wolverine would be gone.
Yep but like Mike said they are treating it differently.
I hope they change their minds and decide to give him his arm back some way. Not a robotic arm either that's dumb. They should have him redo the experiment that created him. Giving him a power up and restoring his arm at the same time.
Hulk with a robotic arm is like Hulk wearing armor to fight. It's truly WTF??? worthy.
For a normal human it would be like throwing a bed sheet over your body before forcing a hail of bullets. Is the sheet 'extra' protection, yes. Is it meaningless extra protection, yes.
I agree with your path. I would have Banner seek out Reed Richards for help in dealing with the unique type of gamma radiation he identified in the Gauntlet that caused the damage and that is lingering in his cells keeping the damage there.
That would lead to the emergence of Bruce as Red Hulk in the next phase. Something they seem to want to explore. I actually think that could be a good use of Hulk in the next phase as they would not need a long Thanos like arc to build him up to a threat (10 years) where the rest of the Avengers really needed to unite to defeat him.
This could be used deep in the phase to bring the Fantastic Four and Xmen in, in a way that connects for fans. And with Namor incoming, the seeds of the Marvel Illuminati, coming together (Reed, Namor, BP, Xavier, Dr. Strange) for the final episode to 'STOP' the Hulk and either kill him, contain him, or heal him could be a great finally. If done right they could really get emotion from the fans IMO. Make the Red Hulk a true terror, who fans would want to see dead, but also make Banner very sympathetic and riddled with guilt and wanting to die so fans empathize and want to see him healed.
If you have familiarity with any of the epic Hulk, ever loving Blue eyed Thing battles from the CBU, where the Thing just gets pounded into near oblivion but just won't quit due to his heart, I think that could be a great way to bring the F4 in, in a way that endeared them to fans, reversing Fox's attempts to bury the franchise.
I would keep the Xmen almost entirely out of this next phase in terms of crossovers. Re-introduce them but do not have them interact with other hero's. There is enough material there that needs to be built out without that confusion. It would only be at the end of the next phase, the battle to 'Stop the Hulk', that Reed reaches out to Dr Strange and the largely unknown Xavier to bring together the illuminati that DOES stop the Hulk at the end of the phase but also sets the Phase 3 of the MCU which is a fully connected Universe with the Xmen, F4, Avengers, all in.
ya the more I think of it the more I like it. We do not need again the 10 year build up of a Thanos like bad. We do not need a full interstellar hero grouping to deal with a universal threat. A truly rampaging Hulk that is unbound and in fury would require most of the worlds top hero's to ensure he did not create chaos. Leave Thor and Guardians dealing with deep space, Eternal's type stuff set up for that competing story line. This is actually a really interesting idea and I like it. I don't think they will do this but I think it would make a great villian for the next Avengers movie. Well not the next one but like the one after that and the whole time slowly build up the Hulk becoming the big bad for that movie. Don't kill him off though have Strange find a way to save him.
I think the main issue is Marvel doesn't really have control of the Hulk so they are limited in what they can do with him.
They could just crossover with Dragon Ball Z and use the Dragon Balls and wish back Black Widow with pre-boob reduction boobs.Yep but like Mike said they are treating it differently.

I read something suggesting the same situation with Namor, but shouldn't those shit contracts have defined expiration dates? This is actually a really interesting idea and I like it. It's like any time Hollywood tries to adapt something Japanese, they fook it up because they know better and change too much. I hope Gundam doesn't flop. With how popular DBZ has become again it's kind of surprising no one is giving it the proper Hollywood treatment. They could really pull it off these days. Even the cheap Japanese anime movies they are doing are starting to look good with their horrible CGI.

I don't know how the contracts are setup for this. It's always random as fuck for these type of things. Like you have to use the character every 3 years or something stupid like that....
