When I first watched that scene, I couldn't understand why McAvoy is screaming his head off as Fassbender slowly pushes the coin through The Bacon's head. It was only later I realised that Xavier was telepathically linked to Shaw and thus experienced his death with him

Brilliant and horrifying. I had just assumed when I saw it that he was horrified at the notion of Magneto killing someone who was in that helpless state. But that makes way more sense. That's a damn solid movie. Easily on the upper tier of the X-Men franchise.

Also- solid avatar. Jacob Anderson's reaction in that moment of that scene really struck me, as did Emilia Clarke's face subsequent to that. Good acting.

Liev was probably a top three all time cinematic supervillain for me.

Great actor in a shitty movie. Shows how someone that good can still impress in a substandard film.

Yeah that movie was ass somehow even though it had a great cast. Haven't seen Schrieber in that many things but he has a big presence in everything I've seen him in. Just exudes menace and confidence.

Great casting.

David Beniof wrote it. Which is also why GOT is shit once they ran out of book material.

Yeah, he's always been fantastic. He was GREAT in Ray Donovan too.

For sure. I've only seen a season and a half of that show but he's terrific. Even going back to when I was first aware of him with the Scream movies- in Scream 2, he could have just been a thankless role but instead he commanded the screen any time he was on there. Talented guy and I'm hoping he does some more film work going forward.

The last season was an incredibly difficult watch, but Liev is incredible. The previous season was transformative, and last season showed what that did to him.

You know how good he was? He was so good I'm afraid to go back and watch it again.

He is also an Epic Narrarator he was the voice of HBOs 24/7 Boxing hype episodes for years.

Well I'll be damned Liev was the Voice for King Pin in into the Spider Verse

Oh man.. He is the narrator on the one of the best shows on tv right now. Smithsonian channel has "history in color," where you get footage from 20s-30s-40s in color. Fantastic.

haha was just about to post this in response to your last post. Seems like he does a lot of voice work. He was great in Wes Anderson's Isle of Dogs as well, which is a fun movie.

The move was shit, but Liev Schrieber's Sabretooth in Wolverine: Origins was legit chilling. He came across as a serial killer with Super Powers. And he feeds Wolverine his best line in the movie,

Sabretooth, "Do you even know how to kill me?"

Wolverine, "I'm gonna cut your Goddamn head off. See if that works".

Great actor in a shitty movie. Shows how someone that good can still impress in a substandard film.

Liev’s performance in Origins alone is what puts that movie above the Last Stand and Apocalypse for me. He was great.

He narrates Hard Knocks as well. Great, smoith voice
It's not football season till I hear that voice and the music

"It's 96 degrees at the Browns practice facility but the feeling of Autumn is in the air. For the city of Cleveland, there's also a feeling of hope in the air for the first time. Everyone in the NFL knows that late season heroics begin in August. Will the Browns restore their glory or will the city's hopes be as fleeting as the Summer winds?"

Uhhhhh, god that was satisfying. I don't even nerd to watch the vid to hear that quote in his voice. Then the theme....my favorite show every year.
