WTF is going on? I feel like I fell into a different timeline again.
First off, Avenatti and The Mooch appeared on Colbert's show last night and are shopping a television show around Hollywood:

Secondly, Stormy Daniels may have her crowdfunded legal fund seized in Avanetti's bankruptcy proceedings.

The Avenatti and Scaramucci Show Bombs Badly on ‘Colbert’
Sad!
Back in May, The New York Times reported that Michael Avenatti, the attorney representing the adult actress Stormy Daniels in a lawsuit against President Trump, and Anthony Scaramucci, the tough-talkin’ hundred-millionaire whose 11-day tenure as Trump’s White House communications director ended with the autofellatio jab heard ’round the world, were pitching a talk show to cable news networks.
“The prominent television agent Jay Sures discussed with executives at CNN and MSNBC the concept of a program where the two men would square off, according to three people briefed on the issue. Both have become frequent cable network guests—Mr. Avenatti as one of Mr. Trump’s greatest antagonists, and Mr. Scaramucci as a loyalist to the president even after flaming out after less than two weeks at the White House,” reported the Times.
Both men have been accused of shameless opportunism. Scaramucci, after all, first endorsed Scott Walker, then Jeb Bush, then flirted with Marco Rubio before finally landing a spot on the Trump campaign. Avenatti has been a regular fixture on cable-news programs, sometimes taping multiple spots a day, and is embroiled in a messy legal spat—one that could potentially cost his client Daniels the $577,000 that she raised via crowdfunding to cover her legal fees in her battle against Trump and his former consigliere Michael Cohen.
That Avenatti and Scaramucci, supposed ideological foes (and one of whom is representing a woman suing the president), are pitching a talk show together feels craven and wrong, and lends credence to charges of self-promotion. Nevertheless, the duo made their television debut Wednesday night on The Late Show in what felt like an audition for their proposed program.
“My first question is, what is this? And… why is this?” asked Colbert, before mentioning the Times report of them shopping a show together.
They tried to brush it off with jokes, but Colbert called them out on their “shtick.” Scaramucci said they had met “through a mutual friend and had a drink together.” Both men agreed that Trump’s ex-lawyer Michael Cohen would be indicted, with Avenatti saying that he was likely to “flip” on Trump.
Throughout the appearance, they tested potential catchphrases—“Are we gonna whine or are we gonna talk?”—and appeared to have their call-and-response shtick down, with Avenatti laying into Trump in sound bites and Mooch delivering a faux-measured response (really, obfuscation), as is his wont. Colbert’s bullshit detector must have been unplugged, because the late-night host appeared more than fine with having his show be exploited by the two aspiring TV stars. He poured them glasses of rosé, as if it were the fourth hour of the Today show, and lobbed them (mostly) softball questions.

Michael Avenatti hilariously crushes Anthony Scaramucci in bizarre debate for Colbert
Stephen Colbert attempted his own political panel Wednesday night by bringing together Stormy Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti and brief White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci.
“My first question is ‘What is this?’ And ‘Why is this?’ Why are the two of you a team now?” Colbert asked about the political freak show to potentially pour out of the men’s discussions. The “Late Show” host revealed that both men are pitching an idea of having the two host a television show where they debate the issues together.
“Are we a team?” Avenatti asked the man playfully known as “The Mooch.”
“I didn’t know we were a team,” replied Scaramucci.
“Let me say two things,” began Avenatti. “I don’t have a lot of rules in my life. But one of the rules is I never do a show with a guy who’s first name is ‘The.'”
“See, I actually thought we were doing a show, and it was going to be the male version of ‘Thelma and Louise,'” said Scaramucci.
“Well, this administration is certainly driving the country off a cliff right now,” replied Colbert.
The host noted he knows the two have a schtick but he wanted to know the realities behind how the two men got to know each other.
“We have a mutual friend,” Scaramucci said, before quickly jumping in to explain that the mutual friend is neither President Donald Trump nor Stormy Daniels.
Colbert asked the men about topics of the day, including the recent news that former Trump “fixer” Michael Cohen is no longer working with his legal team and that he might flip on the president any day.
“This is what happens when you trust your inner-most secrets to a moron,” Avenatti said of Trump and Cohen’s long friendship. Scaramucci, by contrast, gave a long answer that amounted to the need to “wait and see.”
When asked if Avenatti thinks Trump would pardon himself, he said that he has no doubt in his mind that Trump would pardon himself because “he’s the biggest narcissist you’ve ever seen in your entire life.” The audience cheered, but the lawyer broke in to say he had more to say.
“Wait, wait, wait, I’m not done. I’m not done,” he began. “This guy has an ego that is unparalleled. He’s all about the show. He’s all about the pomp and circumstance. We just saw that in Singapore. He travels to Singapore, half way around the world, spends 24 hours there, and is more interested in the red carpet and the flags flags and strolling through the garden than actually getting something done. If it was me, I’d gone over there, I would still be there, because I would have gotten a deal that mattered done instead of posing for a bunch of pictures.”
For a truly hilarious tap-dancing routine, Colbert hammered “The Mooch” on whether or not Trump lied about Stormy Daniels.
When asked about Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, Avenatti called the former New York mayor a “walking disaster.”
“I mean, dazed and confused Rudy has no idea what he’s doing day in or day out,” he continued. “And I do not believe that it is possible that this is premeditated. And if it is premeditated, it’s even worse than we could all expect.”
When it comes to the memo that Trump wrote for Donald Trump Jr., Avenatti said it was a result of what happens “when your entire administration is built on a house of lies. I mean, lying is the rule rather than the exception with this administration. And when you can’t keep your lies straight, this is what happens, period.”
The Mooch, by contrast, tried to use the tactic of “everyone does it” to dismiss the lying problem at the White House. Colbert explained, however, that politicians might lie, but those lies have consequences, regardless of the politician and Trump should suffer those consequences.
Secondly, Stormy Daniels may have her crowdfunded legal fund seized in Avanetti's bankruptcy proceedings.

Stormy Daniels May Lose Crowdfunded $570K in Avenatti Bankruptcy
The $577,000 that Stormy Daniels has crowdfunded to pay her legal fees in her suit against President Donald Trump could be seized to pay for a judgement against one of Michael Avenatti’s other law firms, according to the Los Angeles Times. On Monday, lawyer Jason Frank asked a judge to help him collect the $10 million judgement he won against Avenatti’s Newport Beach firm, Eagan Avenatti, last month, by forcing the company to give him all legal fees that may be collected from 54 clients. Although Daniels is not a client of Eagan Avenatti (she works with another Avenatti firm, Avenatti & Associates), Michael Avenatti often used his Eagan Avenatti email address—and identified himself with the company—in correspondence with Trump’s lawyers. Frank argues that this constitutes enough of a connection that Eagan Avenatti has the rights to Daniels’ money, which also means that the firm could be forced to surrender said money to pay for the judgement. Daniels has been crowdfunding this money since March, the Times notes, to help her cover “legal bills, security costs and any damages she might be ordered to pay Trump” for breaking their nondisclosure agreement.
