Audio books.

I have the audio books for the kingkiller chronicles and I thought they were fantastic. The only problem with fantasy audio books is its sometimes hard to follow characters and history, and seeing as I listen to it at work I'm not all that focused sometimes. All in all though I think they are great, especially if the narrator is good.

I tried audible and didn't like it because I couldn't listen on my android phone.

I use audio books dot com and have listened to 5 or 6 books while on long commutes for work and while playing xbox. It works really well for me. The only draw back is I love having a physical book I can place on my shelf when I'm done, but the advantage of getting a book whenever I want and not having to carry anything but my phone outweighs the disadvantage.

I say go for it.

until podcasts, i used to listen to audiobooks all the time when i had to go on long drives...

honestly, i wouldnt recommend audiobooks for how you seem to want to use them, if you want to be listening as you fall asleep, each day you are going to be faced with trying to figure out exactly where you left off...i would recommend subscribing to a podcast if you want to fall asleep to something

otherwise, if i am misunderstanding when you would listen, audiobooks are great for things like driving , jogging, on a plane , etc...
