No way they are like that in real life lol.

The only time you encounter people like that in real life is if they're part of social groups that contain nothing but them and other assholes. You probably don't ever encounter these people at all unless you're one of them.

Celebrities are perpetually trying to manage their image. What if someone killed themselves after struggling with drug addiction? People would immediately suspect the spouse of being an addict. There are too many jobs in hollywood that either can't tolerate scandal or a chance that a project goes sideways over bad behavior that affects the project.
