Hers. The lying was almost pathological, but because I was good at spotting lies, I felt like I kinda always knew what was up. And she said that schizophrenia ran in the family, so either she was having issues, or that was another lie, but not really a good sign if that's something you lie about.

Two/three times after the breakup, she reached out to me and my family with these just insane crazy stories. They're actually quite funny now that I'm past it, but man did my stomach squeeze into a knot any time I thought about it at the time.
