There’s no pride in breaking up a family. The fact that a child feels relief that their parents are not together speaks to the level of dysfunction that child was exposed to.
Children who grow up in single parent (mother) households have demonstrably worse results than those that grew up in a complete family. They are less likely to graduate/finish high school, less likely to go to college, more likely to abuse drugs, more likely to end up in prison, and more likely to have their own relationships end in divorce.
Don’t bother responding with your “but what about this exception” garbage. Exceptions don’t disprove rules. They prove them.
