Circunov, Texteria , Blackikovsk(or what ever) ,Cannoier... Man these are ranked top 15. Can you imagine how suck is this division? What can you expect of a divisio when Texteria who cant even throw punches is ranked third.

DC , Volkan , hopefully Saki and little bit of Manuwa. Thats all this division has.
 
You forgot Gustaffson. Who will probably be the next dominant champ.
 
The division is dreadful. Sad to see as it was the best division in MMAs golden years
 
It was shittier when Tito was ducking Chuck and everyone from PRIDE.
 
Despite what some people try and claim, both the LHW and HW divisions as a whole are complete garbage compared to ten years ago.
 
There are actually some great fighters (you named a few). We just don't know them that well.

I see a new breed of LHW's coming our way.

That said not sure.
 
I am disappointed in Circunov. I thought he was the next big thing. He still might be, but it may take a few years, during which there really isn’t many new fighters to get excited about.

Your argument holds zero water. Tito beat 2 PRIDE fighters, Wand and Guy Mezger. Guy Mezger fought 2 split decisions with Ricardo Arona and Little Nog, and was no slouch.
 
Make a 230/235lb class. The big gap works against lhw and hw.

If this division is bad then what is HW ???
Pretty sad when u know there are a few LHW guys that could go up and beat majority of the top 10 hw guys
 
No way. The division was much worse before Jon Jones.

It was a division full of MWs who didnt feel like cutting weight. It wasnt until Jones came along, with the new physical blueprint for 205 that alot of the bloated MWs left the division.

The UFC LHW division of today is better than it was 10 years ago. And the MW division is finally strong aswell.....

When guys the size of Machida and Rashad were winning belts at LHW, thats when it was its weakest. Even at their prime, they wouldnt have beat the top large LHWs, las it should be.

They shouldve both been champs at MW, not LHW.....
 
the division isn't stacked, let's say it like that.
The fact currently is that there are no better 205ers atm... There's Jones, Bader, Davis and Rumble you can add to the top 10 at LHW. Rumble quit, Jones suspended and the other 2 are defo great fighters, but let Bellator also have 2-3/10ths of the top10 LHW.

Also, name a couple of LHWs who are not in the UFC, not called Bader or Davis who can beat the Top5 UFC LHW...
 
Scrap 205 and merge them all in with HWs.
Isn't half the Bellator HW tournament former LHW fighters so it shouldn't be a big deal.

For the life of me, I've never understood the obsession with Cruiseweight division.

Where the fuck do you think the talent is supposed to come from?

So, because you like those fighters, the division sucks? LOL

You are basing your opinion on fighter's popularity. It is seems like celebrity is the biggest factor in these habitual "such and such division sucks" threads.

A division without celebrities is easily associated with "sucking." LOL
 
This is what happens when you have a dominant champ. everyone else becomes weak and the division shallow.
