at what point did the HW division become wallpaper?

When the UFC's joke drug testing was brought to light.
 
I don't get the opening question. I've never seen wallpaper used as an adjective. I infer that it means something negative.

I assume you mean it's dumb that the UFC tests? Not that the tests are poor in quality? Because if you mean the tests aren't effective, than they couldn't have an effect on the division....
 
It's because HW's historically don't have little dick syndrome and don't feel the need to talk up a storm before a fight, because they can all end it with one strike.

To me it will always be the most prestigious weight class and Werdum/Miocic is the most meaningful fight on that podium.

Listen man, mostly anyone who is big enough to be a UFC heavy weight is playing something that is going to pay a hell of a lot more. why do you think that there is a ton of UFC heavyweights that are fighting and you got Goldie talking about how they were in the NFL, and team they played for? Because a shit load of UFC heavyweights played football, they just werent good enough to stay in the NFL. TUF 10 should have been called Kimbo vs the NFL practice squad.

What should be the "glamour" division is one of the worst. Zero depth, half of those guys shouldn't even be competing anymore.
It's telling that no one has ever had more than 2 title defenses at heavyweight in the UFC. If you have cardio and can avoid big punches for more than a minute you too can be heavywieht champ.

rubbish. as the weight goes up, the skill goes down in general. people who like HW are not true fighting fans.
 
When the fit, athletic, fast and flashy lighter weight guys started kicking people in the face off the cage and shit.

HW champ beats all other champs unless proven otherwise. There's a reason people starve themselves and cut weight to avoid the bigger weight classes.

but someone who thinks the HW division is the best simply because they would beat the other weight divisions in a fight is either a 13 year old or... well no, just a 13 year old.
