No belt, no GOAT.... simple as that.
I think this is a pretty solid take.Ferg has to beat Khabib to lay claim to LW GOAT.

Hopefully they both win their next fights and we finally get to see that fight.
Was Conor ever really in their realm though? To be honest? He has to beat Khabib. So far Khabib has pulled ahead of him by beating one of the other three, Conor.

I think Porier would box Tony up.
Do you guys see Tony getting it done? If he wins impressively, is he the GOAT at LW? If not, what else must he do? Simply defeat Khabib or go on a dominant reign with the belt?
Ugh. Kevin lee depresses me so much. He has so much potential with his top game and striking. He needs to bail out of the takedowns against the cage when they aren’t working and preserve his energy more like Romero does.
1A. Khabib
1B. Ferguson
2. Benson Hendo
3. BJ
4. Frankie
Lmao
How do you rank Frankie below BJ? He has a better LW record and beat Penn 3 times...
First fight is universally accepted as a robbery
Tony is probably the most hittable fighter on the roster. He either just doesn't care or has the same stand up coach as Rockhold.Poirier would probably land good shots early, but wilt late. The difference between Tony and Max is that while both are attrition fighters, Tony is bigger and does more damage. Tony also has the grappling threat (probably not through traditional TD's but through his unorthodox way he forces scrambles, his front headlock, etc.).
I will say that I give Dustin a better chance vs Tony after seeing how composed he was vs Max's pressure. I just think the difference is that he could walk through whatever Max landed. Tony may not have huge one-shot KO power, but he does more damage than Max. People talked about how damaged that Ortega was after fighting Max, but that's EVERYONE that fights Tony.
