He has a show class array of fancy strikes with KO power and bully tactics in a weight class a tad too small for him(don't kid ourselves he looks like famine victim at weighin).

Actual MMA acuity and dual level striking to setup or prevent the takedown is a necessary this day in age. One notch above a one trick pony who must realize actual boxing is not 100% haymakers in Fight Night or whatnot.

Effective jabs, off center striking are paramount in elite striking and not whiffing on air so much with fancy wheel kicks, capoiriera nonsense. Conditioning is fine but when u whiff on power bombs half the time then you will gas; strategy is shite.

If you have that one gameplan alone at LW to stave off the top ten then UFC will have to bid you an early farewell, or if your content, toil in mid-level purgatory if you want. Otherwise, fight like an actual MMA practitioner and not as your character would do in the UFC game being controlled by one of your 12 year old noob fan.

He is only 27... it's not too late to learn grappling.

Lol. Believe me it's too late. He showed this Saturday that he has ZERO ground game.

Maybe if he works on it 24/7 he will learn how to defend decently in 1-2 years. But i seriously doubt it.

Stop embarrassing yourself.

Conor is the most ridiculously hyped hype machine the UFC has ever hyped.

I agree with this. If he hasn't learned it by now then he will not.

Are you the god of grappling or some shit like that ? Why would someone believe you then ?
I'm pretty sure he'd embarass you with his "0 skills" as you said
Dont worry for Conor, he showed he has an heart and a brain thats enough to bounce back

So you can be a champ and still just a hype train?

Yeah, Like Aldo will be know for the guy who lost in 13 sec.

What about the Mystic Mac thing. He truly predicted fights. This was incredible, he did great things.

What a goofy post my friend.

He beat the long time champion Jose Aldo in a few seconds. He then went up a weight class or two and lost a non title fight. BJ Penn also went up a weight class on a number of occasions and had some bad losses. I and a lot of other fans don't look down on BJ Penn for doing that.

He made his name in the featherweight division, so his obvious future path is in it and not 155 or 170.

Take your uneducated opinion to the grappling forum and see how that goes. Conor has shown to be a legit brown belt.

"legit brown belt" lol. I don't know what McDojo are you from but believe me even 1-2 adult athletic category sambo wrestlers roll better than that. It probably equals to someone with purple belt.

I've never seen sambo practitioner who started later than 22-23yo and won some big tournaments. You just don't learn as quick when you are older. Conor will never become elite at grappling, it will always be his weakness.

Come back to reality, kiddo

No way. Ronda will always take the cake.

Frankie will beat him, I believe, and grappler Aldo will win in a battle of attrition. As long as he can maintain his insane cut then he'll have 145 to fight in. He's still very good, no doubt though. But that's all.

BJ's ass was cocky as all hell too and guess who tamed him for good? (Frankie) I see history repeating itself. What is it with these fighters that move up that makes them so arrogant.
