ip check might be in order imoStrange mine said the same thing. Are we the same person?
i don't understand why i would have to input my name to have this free reading done.
Lol I went to my bit torrent site I go to for this stuff to search for this, downloaded the torrent, but it turns out I already downloaded this book just over 2 years ago. Just never read it, I have over 100 books on the subject.
Looks interesting, I'll try to read it when I get the time.
Gee, I wonder if those people believed in anything else that's crazy.Actually women didn't even have access to this kind of stuff until very recently.
Some famous men who were into astrology:
JP Morgan
Carl Jung
Pythagoras
Benjamin Franklin
Issac Newton
Galileo
Nostradamus
Plato
Hippocrates
Paracelsus
Hitler
The 3 wise men from the bible
Gee, I wonder if those people believed in anything else that's crazy.
That has to be the worst case of appeal to authority I've ever seen.

Simply stating that people believe something is not committing a fallacy unless he was using that as evidence to argue a point. It was just a statement triggered by a comment asking if he/she was a woman.
So, post hoc reasoning and no idea of the supposed mechanism. It will do nothing to explain the mechanism at work (he doesn't claim to understand it), but it correlates historical events with the archetypal, dynamic properties of hard planetary alignments which were present at that time.

Some of them great minds, sure. But utterly ignorant in a lot of areas by today's standards. And that was my point.Crazy to you, a poster on sherdog. These are some of the greatest minds in history, light years beyond you. I doubt they'd care if you think their beleifs are crazy, they actually achieved in life.
Science and Mathematics were created and developed by occultists/alchemists, without ppl who had these beliefs neither would be anywhere near as advanced as they are today.
Exactly. I was just pointing out that most of astrologies most famous practicioners were men.
Saying it's just for women is retarded since women didn't even have access to this kind of stuff until very recently in history, before that they were too busy taking care of children and in the kitchen.
Astrology was created and shaped throughout history by men.

They were a bunch of creationist, occultist, alchemist, astrologists who despite these beliefs achieved something great (or horrible). So the fact that they believed in astrology doesn't really give any extra credibility to this silly pseudo-science.
Obviously the people who were making the 'woman jokes' weren't talking about the history of astrology, so that's a moot point.

If only he could make some predictions so that we could test his hypothesis.
Todays standards wouldn't exist without these ppl.
And ppl far more intelligent and influential than you have and will continue to believe in astrology.
Then that's their error. It was created and developed by men through thousands of years. Saying pit's something that's just for women shows a vast lack of perspective.
LOL, great counter-points.Todays standards wouldn't exist without these ppl.
