I have this as the dark horse pick for fight of the night.. I think assuncao gets it done though..

He seems to keep improving and isn't afraid to move forward … Ex CES FW Champ still hungry and climbing to top 5 .. just not sure the jump to a level of Assuncao was best move at this time .. Would rather seen him VS. Dodson or even Rivera after the loss to Moraes

Wouldn't mind Assuncao vs. Cruz if he was guaranteed a shot after .. And to be honest I find a Moraes Vs. Cruz more intriguing .. He would almost be guaranteed a title shot with a W even with his loss to Assuncao

cuz moraes head kicked rivera in like 20 seconds while assuncao wins split decisions mostly. moraes has won a few close fights but that head kick ko is the difference maker. and i thought moraes beat assuncao when they fought

fair enough … Assuncao is 1-1 with current champ .. And has a win over Moraes ..Which he didn't head kick off and went to decision as well .. I wouldn't be terribly upset if he got it before Assuncao but wouldn't really sit right at the end of the day

How bout Assuncao vs. Moraes II for title shot ?? Id be happy with that ..personally think should leave Cruz out of the mix .. let him rematch Cody after he loses again to TJ and fight one more top guy before title shot .. that dude jams things up IMO

not really .. he is super hungry and improving still .. if he pulls off a W against Assuncao he'll be right on the edge of your BOLD line .. so literally two fight away from a possible title shot ..say he gets W over Assuncao #3 currently and then W over Cody \ Cruz \ Moraes …

not too unlikely for future top 5 .. but he will have a set back after tonight .. Assuncao is a beast
