Assuming Rory re-signs with the UFC, what is next for him?

Depends on the contract. Pretty sure whoever pays him the most will be his pick. But if he stays in the UFC i think he's fighting Hendricks/Gastelum winner OR Neil Magny

I am not with you here, I cant assume he will resign with the UFC. I see him moving to Bellator. According to him he was made good offers by both organizations and UFC isnt offering what he wants. Rory going to Bellator is good for everyone involved. Him, UFC and Bellator. He goes to bellator he then can make money with his sponsors again plus the contract $ he will sign. UFC hes stuck with Reebok. Its good for UFC because that opens up a slot in the rankings for a new up and comer because unless Rory moves to another weight class he is at best a gatekeeper status (and he isnt even that yet) Competition is also good to have, Belator is growing and Rory has a better chance at being on top there. I say Rory does not sign with the UFC. Bellator bound.

Agreed. And after that loss last night, his bargaining power with the UFC dropped as well. If he wanted to stay, he needed to starch Wonderboy.

Rory's first BIG step is get his soul back from Lawler. The Rory tonight is a shell of the fighter BEFORL the Lawler fight. Secondly get that busted up nose operated on and fixed properly so it doesn't spew blood at the first glancing blow. It was pretty obvious he was having trouble breathing through it and between rounds was spitting out blood.

How on earth did he avoid surgery the first time round?!

That's what I'm wondering, but I think they put something sticks inside his nose to keep the bones aligned while they healed. Apparently it didn't work and Rory is tough as shit.

He's gonna have to do something about that nickname. I doubt Ares got his ass beat and nose broke in back to back fights. How about Uranus? Robbie can be Cronus, since Cronus took Uranus's balls.

People calling for Rory/Cerrone are madmen! Cerrone hasn't even beaten someone in the top ten yet, and he should be fighting the guy who until last night was #1 contender at WW? That's bananas.

26 year old with far to many miles on him already.

His lawler fight took years off his life.

Rory is in a tough tough spot here.
I hate this term, "took years off his life", it wasn't like a Cain vs. JDS beating where his head was getting pummeled against the cage and snapping all the way back whenever he got hit, he took a lot of damage to his nose but that's it. I would like to see Rory vs. Magny next if he stays with the UFC.

There're no easy match ups in the UFC. He should go to Bellator where the competition is a little easier.

He needs to fight a few mid tier guys to get his confidence back.

Rory is a tough fight for anyone in the division.

He may be a long way from the title with his recent losses, but there are still money fights for him. He looked damn good last night, Wonderboy was just better. Rory looked a hell of a lot better than Hendricks.

Lol you're a donkey who's never done anything but sit around.

He took a severe beating to the point his brain might never be the same again. The brain isn't meant to take thst. He was beaten to a pulp.

It depends on what's up with his nose, how to fix it, and when/if he wants to fight again. It could be another long layoff, and by then, the division could look different.

MacDonald would be perfect for Nick Diaz's comeback fight (assuming he isn't gifted another title shot).

The problem with Rory going foward is the brothers shnozzole.
That beak has been straight mangled. There aint no cartilage up in that sumbich no more....That brother got a glass beak.
