Mexican nicknames are weird, my boys nickname was "Baby Shrek" in HS, never understood it. They're nonsensical just roll with it.

The Mexicans will attach to one random character, such as Shrek, Taz, or “Chuky,” and just love him to death for the rest of time. It is the Way of the Mexican.

That is why I was so surprised and disappointed when El Chupacabras was forgotten overnight by the Mexicans back in 1996. It was as if they had lost The Way.
